I imagine that a decent chunk would not follow the holidays, just as they didn't in feudal times. This being if we go with Khat's subsistence farming plans.
If we go for the much more observed Wasteland, I imagine many of the books detailing, if not the actual practice of traditions would survive through Stables and their repositories, or outright from the many places not hit with Balefire.
Could also see additional things similar to the Day of the Dead cropping up or days of remembrance for the Balefire. Points of somber note and quietness, others having a gay old time and being lively, celebrating the victory over the stripes.
Great fights would erupt between the two groups, leading eventually to formalized rules to prevent grievous injuries and death as they keep recurring. Eventually these conflicts would become the center of the holiday and the Balefire Day would be turned into a sports holiday with a great deal of commercialization.
In the end, people forgetting the horrors visited upon the land and just knowing they are to celebrate on a day because of tradition.

Really needs some more self preservation from the raiders begging not to be eaten. Like the pegasus right at the end bargaining his life by guiding them through the mist caves. As it stands now, the vore is so cavalier and constant its kind of becoming a replacement for just shooting each other.
Needs a bit of something to show its not a final thing, that there are some ways to get yourself out of a stomach when it comes down to it.
Other than that, I prefer the Vraddock chapters the most. They have a much darker by way of showing things than Cainman's casual horror hell method.
It'd be a bit nicer though if both remembered the FOE specific terms, they have a nasty habit of swapping between Fallout and FOE with irregularity.

How about this: Spells and Spellcraft.
What kind of unique or interesting spells or spell usage would you like to see in the FoE universe? Is it something you've made up yourself, or did you get some kind of inspiration from the show/an outside source?
I have a few ideas myself but I'll start with a simple concept.
Certain personality types affect the kind of magic a user might have an affinity for, and while this may not include the level of discipline the user may have, it can affect not only the effectiveness of the spell but the level of difficulty in leaning the spell as well.
Case in point, a flame spell. Fire is: hot, bright, warm, and sometimes unpredictable. Would it make sense that an avid or talented flame spell user could have a passionate/aggressive/dominant personality?

Because fetish fics are a decent place for first time writers to start. It gives them a reason to write and fufills a major chunk of what to write about.
However, many spend too much time falling into the fetish and trying to make the ultimate jerk it fuel. This is a rather big problem I don't have. Rather I write too much story into the porn I am told. Self deriding aside, the issue is few people seem willing to discuss clop in an actual editor manner. Eh, that sounds a bit like an excuse to just put special weapons from fo4 into stories, if you don't mind me saying. I have a 10mm explosive pistolthat wrecks just about everything to a degree, fantastic limb damage too, I have a plasma infused combat rifle and sniper rifle, I got a knife that does extra bleed damage and a sword that poisons etc.
I kinda feel like throwing little magical effects into weapons is a little... Idk, cheap? Perhaps too on the nose.
As for the Red Eye bypass spell, didn't he end use using that to purify the Everfree forest without actually burning any of the trees? It didn't really bypass armor as it was meant before the war, it bypassed a target, or structures and barriers. Though wasn't it meant to bypass magical barriers instead?
I'm more interested in standalone spells or magic based tricks, like Alloy's metalworking spell. When I read about how taxing it was to use for her, I knew it had to be a very unconventional spell. Something she came up with one day when she was frustrated with little mistakes she kept noticing on whatever she was working on. Rather than actually cast a specific spell, it seemed to me that she just focused her magic like an extension of her will toheat up the metal for bending it.Unconventional like I said, but not impossible due to the nature of magic and he experience with the material at hand.

Though its 12.7 mm rounds were enviable for their use, refinements in carbon nanomesh composites were proving difficult to bypass with the possible rounds. Further, LASER MEWs would see their destructive energy sucked away, having to defeat the entire armor of the cretinous cyborgs before they could scrap them.
The MOWT trialed and searched for many options, from close range explosively pumped pile bunkers to light cannons in the 3 inch range for mounting on Steel Rangers. None of the trialed options the desired effects, range, or logistics support needed for the fight.
A small company known as Corporal Arcane entered a cobbled together design late into the competition that they claimed would solve the plasma diffusion issue that had long been plaguing designs. Just don't handwave it and then leave no other explanation besides magic or "lol talisman." That throws up a stupid amount of "this is my special snowflake gun" red flags. As does any anti-material or sniper rifle.
If you note, all of those were questions that could be answered with some light conflicts- in other words, their own little stories. It could be how the character "built up" to having the gun instead, and have their piece of shit evolve and do so while simultaneously adding some flavor to the overall story.
How did pone learn where the spell was and where was it hidden? How temporary is it? how did he manage to learn to fire it while casting/moving (if)? How strenuous is it, and do they get better at using it more often? etc. etc.
Hell, they could even go into silly adorkable gibberish about the tech behind it (which leads to handwaving of a different sort, but at least it can be attributed to some shit in-story).would you like adorkable gunsmith pone?
Failing could make for some interesting stories too, like having early bypass bullets fall through literally everything or be like firing blanks. hell, from that failure, imagine if pone used the metalworking spell on the minigun ammo pack of a steel ranger, or the casings on a belt of frags. Or, load up someone with "blank" fail-bypass bullets and let them get into a gunfight.
There's tons of evil shit that can be done with actually acquiring "metal" effects, but just suddenly or already having the effects is boring as shit.
Now I'm imagining the discussion raiders would have about fluids to put in the darts for a tranq gun they found at a hunting reserve.

Next chapter is coming along. Writing is about 15% into it. Some real interesting stuff to have to do, some high drama and scenes I've had in mind for literal years at this point. So that naturally slows any writer to be sure it's right.

The issue is that the fetish fic dissolves entirely into the fetish. A rape fic is all about the penetration, the sex, not putting in the dominance, the after. Here Caiman's issue is that the story keeps warping in on itself to make way for the fetish.
