Started working on a project and the "Equestranauts" episode of Bob's Burgers is on. How fitting.
My first attempt at making a laying down pony pattern. Turned out pretty good! Was originally just going to be a throwaway prototype but now I'm super excited to finish it. Pattern needs some adjustments but at the very least it will make for a great shoulder pony.

Thank you. My Joanns didn't have their version of Minky in the right color, and it's a bit of a prototype anyways so I didn't want to order anything. I'm going to try applique for the eyes though I should probably have done that before sewing the head together.

Odd that you happen to mention this. I don't usually visit the plush thread, but I thought I'd share something. I work in construction, and I fucking hate my job. Everyday is shear misery at this job, and its compounded by the fact that I take medication everyday that makes me extremely tired at the end of the day. My days consist of going to work, coming home exhausted from the medication, take a 4 hour nap, wake up for about an hour, fall asleep for the night, wake up and do it again. My life at the moment consists of work and sleep. I am in college to become a computer engineer, but work means I can only take very few classes a semester. The only light I have right now is knowing that when I finally graduate, I can quit and do what I really want to for a living. I'm not trying to sound like a sad sap, but it really started to all weigh down on me today, and I started to feel really depressed about it. Before I laid down for my daily nap, I looked up and saw my RD and Twily plushes, and thought, you know I never do this, but I think I'll cuddle with them while I'm laying here. I started hugging, kissing, and talking to them like they were really there. I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming joy come over me while I was laying there snuggling up in bed with those two. It was like just for a while, I didn't have to worry about the troubles I had in life. All that mattered was right then, and right then, I was cuddling with the two best ponies a person could ever ask for. Lost in that moment, life was good. I felt a whole lot better when I woke up and still had them wrapped up in my arms while I slept. Plushies really are magical things. Sorry if that was a blog post, but I just felt like sharing.

This is a fantastic post. I HATE my job. My job used to be great, but things have really changed/devolved and I really hate/loathe my job. I get so disgusted and mad that I get tension headaches and go the whole day without eating sometimes. When I finally get home and see those colorful ponies smiling at me it does a lot. After getting cleaned up and holding my favorite pone, all the stress and hate vanishes and I am overcome with elation. Sometimes I still get teary eyed while holding her after a horrible day the happiness is so great. The sleep is 10 times better too while holding her.

I got muh giant 26" ponk today.
I may have not understood just how big a 26" plush is. She is friggin huge, like goddamn. Might be a bit too big for my plans come spring (what with moving into my truck to pay off debts faster,) but for now, I will make hay while the sun shines.
She is a bit stiffer than what I'd have liked, but I found a bonus to this; she is very comfortable to spoon, and tucking my arms between her fore and back legs makes it feel like she is hugging my arm.
Tonight will be a nice night for once.

Check the plush list in the OP. It's hard to now how "good" is "good quality" to you. Either way, for the standard level of "good" expect to spend $200+ on a standing plush. EP has some beanies for cheaper, but they're cheaper because the pattern is simpler.
