"Pony toys" could be a catch all for all MLP related merchandise, including EqG. Business jargon doesn't need to differentiate. However the name "Guardians of Harmony" sounds FiM-related. There was that job ad for a new creative lead. It could just be to fill in Meghan McCarthy's role since her promotion won't allow her the time to remain the story editor, but the way the whole thing is worded, especially the bit about creating the Brand Bible (which is written before a show begins production), makes it seem like it's for a new series. If so, then the big question is: will this replace the current show or will the two run concurrently like how Hasbro has multiple Transformers series being produced at the same time but drastically different in story and tone from one another?

Well, the past three toy lines have had themes: Crystal Empire; Rainbow Power; and Cutie Mark Magic.
My theory, or rather fan hope is "Guardians of Harmony" is the moniker of the mane 6 as they truly battle/foil the constant plans of a villain and henchmen. Maybe for season six things get truly "Sailor Moon."
