It's likely because Jewish people are seen as greedy, caring only of making sales rather than making a product worth selling or making a company people actually trust buying shit from.
Personal opinion: you can make fun of these stereotypes without being racist, but it's very hard to not use the stereotypes in a racially insensitive way.
