Well the new MAS artistic style (arguably lack thereof) looks like it's optimized for HD viewing, when you compare these drawings to the thicker outlines seen in FiM.
Saw some motion blur, makes me wonder when the manes will get some movement too.
The comedy's still on point if you're paying attention to the dialogue -

- but this video seems like more of a quick critique of S5's villain anyway.

I honestly like Gregs work, it doesn't really matter if he follows every single plot point from the episode since the purpose of the short is to make people laugh. And he's really grown as an animator, considering he started this year.

Greg's stuff is alwaysok, almost alwaysgood.
It's hard to really dig into this one though, because it's pretty blatantly a critique of the base episode. Greg is a nor/mlp/erson and uses this board pretty regularly, or used to, and so the critiques he puts forward are not too distant from the ones we've already heard.
So really all there is to discuss is whether you like Greg's style or not. I do.
I will say that I somewhat dislike his switch to flash animation. It used to be pretty interesting to watch his streams and discuss style choices in the art and such, but with flash he's already built the puppets so the streams are not what they used to be. Greg's still a fun guy to listen to, and I understand that overall quality and time to produce is WAY better for Greg, but some charm got lost.
It was fun to watch someone who isn't an artist try so hard to draw and still fail pretty bad. All while mocking himself, ponies and society. Now he mostly talks about video games I don't play and politics I've grown tired of.
