For me Firefox uses maybe 900mb on average (9-10 tabs, no flash shit, 1 YouTube tab). The only reason I have Chromium still is because Google drive on Firefox uses ~65% processor on my laptop for some reason. And it's not a shit processor too, Core i7m Sandy Bridge can still kick ass.
