The only one that has any chance of appering is SS but that chance is really miniscule desu. There's no real good reason for her to be in the show when one, she is the defacto leader of her own group. Two, has shown no interest in even returning. And three, that vacant spot has been taken.
So it really baffles the mind when people say it isn't canon, desu. It wouldn't have an impact on the show in anyway.

EQG are great, all of them. The only problem you'll have is trying to watch it without prejudiced you already have formed.
For instance, I watched first EQG before learning community opinion on them, so I was unaffected.
And, desu, vast majority of critique for EQG comes from entitled faggots who were too afraid to see any changes to their precious showor to the way people draw anthro.

is literally the only real problem people have with EQG, while every other thing they'll try to point out as a defect is already present in the main show.
Anyway:
EQG - gives you a new story so it has this special novelty taste to it making it unique and my personal favorite. Arguably, has the best song in whole MLP series. Essentially a love-letter to the fanswho then used it to wipe their asses.
EQG RR: as it takes a smaller scale story to tell, it feels very good in terms of pacing. Has awesome villains. Has a lot of great songs, and even more so if you include shorts. Compared to previous movie, designs and animation became better.
EQG FG: the most complex story among the movies, sadly because of this, it kinda feels rushed. Gives some things to think about, especially if you consider scrapped scenes. Has the best design among movies.

I also appreciate the first EqG. I like it because of how personal a quest it is for Twilight. She just became a princess back in Equestria, which she's plenty nervous about, and right as she's going to her first summit meeting she already encounters trouble. Then, with only Spike by her side, she has to go off alone into a world she doesn't understand, in a foreign body, and try to get her Element of Harmony back in two days' time. Not to mention Sunset Shimmer already knows this world inside and out and has at least an equal understanding of magic as Twilight. She is a high school bully, but in a series about friendship, that's quite appropriate, and it's obvious her intent is much darker than any regular bully's.
So the whole thing is kind of like this big stepping stone for Princess Twilight, who has to fight off her lack of understanding and fear of failure and reconcile the human versions of her friends in a very short amount of time. That's why I love her friendship speech to Shimmer at the end, and Principal Celestia's commendation of her for exemplifying the true traits of a princess. It assures Twilight, "Hey, maybe I am cut out for this princess thing."
