Thankfully still no gender swap episode either. There is absolutely NO WAY an episode about that wouldn't be problematic in ten different ways at once. For one, why would it be interesting? The only way to make it interesting would be if Equestria has shitty gender roles that the ponies need to learn to follow. It would completely destroy one of the things that is so good about the show. It would also spread a shitty moral out of universe. There would be no point to it if they didn't force shitty morals and a shitty Equestrian society. I hope it never happens.
There is only one possible way that I can imagine working, they could make it a transsexual episode. But I don't trust the writers to do that in a good way, they need to ask actual trans people for how it feels to be in the wrong body, which I doubt they'd actually do. This is the only way to do a gender swap episode right, and I've never seen it done, and it would be incredibly unlikely to happen in MLP.
