Mostly because I don't want fandom people to interrupt my personal life by realizing who I am as per the fandom, and coming up to me spilling spaghetti and asking "Oh hey, make a comic/draw my fav pony/say something with one of your voices" and I don't want the people I keep professional contact with to know that I have something dedicated to the completely opposite of that sort their world.
It's a dual life thing. Business and Pleasure, have to keep myself silent in both, because you can't have your cake and eat it as well.
