B)True love from first sight: Relationships that were never developed and were already introduced as in romantic relationship in the first episode they appear
The problem with the depiction of it in the show is that there is NEVER a middle ground between being friendzoned and married. Every friendship since Season 1 to Season 5 never grown into something more. Is like the more Equestrians bond with someone, the less chance they have to fall in love with them. At the same time, as shown with Rarity and romance shown in the comics (Cdance/Shining or Sombra/Celestia) the only true love is established at the first sight, when you meet a complete stranger.
A shitty message for little girls to ignore their friends and judge their love interest only on their first appearance, instead.

Strong relationship is build upon understanding and trusting eachother. Liking to spend time with eachother even if there are problems and mutual differences in opinion. Discord and Rarity had as much arguments with Fluttershy and Applejack as they had cute moments of fun with them.
With pairings like FlutterMac they're just too bland while Dislestia is based on an abuse and both of them convey no message other than appeasing their respective shippers.
