I always try to remember that the lines that make up the top of the muzzle, the mouth, and the jaw are always parallel. Obviously if you're going for a more cartoon look you can break this rule.
Get into the habit of drawing the other ear and knowing where it goes in relation to the other ear. Right now all of your ears are way too low on the skull and it looks odd.

That's a nice visualization. My practice from the beginning of last month actually shows that shape of the muzzle and cheeks consistently but I didn't really know why it was appealing but I kept doing it anyway. I still play around with muzzle and face shape so that's why almost everything I post tends to have different facial attributes. I'll worry about consistency later. I have too much fun experimenting to stick to one thing.

Stagnation is rough to deal with. Drawing other things usually snaps me out of really bad bouts of artist's block. The worst thing you can do is stop drawing. >>25654578 was actually the result of not knowing what to draw so I pulled some references and played messed with brush settings. That's another thing; just pull up references of your favorite pony images and just start drawing. Redraw the reference in your own style and just play around. You never know when you'll have a happy accident.
