Electrons naturally repel each other. It requires an immense amount of pressure in order for electrons to contact each other. Pressure that doesn't exist on earth. Since everything has electrons in them, no two particles can ever collide. That seat you're sitting on? You're aren't actually touching it, you're levitating over it. The repulsion of electrons makes it impossible to touch ANYTHING.
