I live in Mexico, so here the temperatures oscillate between 77 and 95f.
I have never seen snow in my whole life, but I am not afraid of the cold. I actually dislike the hot weather more because while you can cover yourself with 3 pairs of pants, socks and earmuffs, dissipating heat isn't easy, unless you spend a lot in air coolers which seems like a waste.

What makes it worse is the fact that this El Nino bullshit is happening big time this time around, which makes for the possibilities of warmer than average temperatures and lower than average precipitation for my area in the winter.
