What kind of ponies are we talking about?
Earth ponies are the big nasty looking things, but they're mostly harmless. If you can manage it, just put them in a cup, throw them back outside, and patch up where they're coming in from.
Pegasi are smaller and have a tendency to get in the tight spaces around your house, but a few well placed electric lamps or adhesive paper should stop them.
Now unicorns, those are the buggers. A small unicorn infestation isn't so bad and can be done away with store-bought unicorn spray. Spray it around where you think they're entering and it should knock 'em out cold and discourage entry. Larger infestations on the other hand could require the entire house to undergo anti-magic fumigation.

Besides the wasteland timeline, do you guys think the order in which the timelines were shown to be fitting or do you think they should have been swapped around for better effect? Like if the sombra timeline was shown later in the finale compared to the beginning would it have had more of an impact?

I think Nightmare Moon should've stayed where it was and the wasteland is best at the end because of how bleak it was. I think the only two that really could've been switched were Sombra and Chrysalis. Sombra's timeline had more of an impact though because we got to see the abandoned Ponyville and AJ.
