Hello /mlp/! I've been here for a few years (Before the tragedy on the infamous February 16th, 2013. You should know this episode air date.) and I've been examining drawfriends since day one of arriving. I've been a greentexter on this site for a while, and I've seen countless artists in this place get ponies, their forms, and all the key items of a pony right.
Now, I actually wanna try my hand at this. I legitomately do. So, let me ask, do any of you guys have any ideas/helpful tips you can offer me to help me in this shitty conquest?

As prosaic as it sounds, the only real answer is practice. Draw shitty art until it is bad art, then draw bad art until it is mediocre art, then draw mediocre art until it is good art. Draw often.
And don't try to replicate any pre-existing piece of art or you'll take longer to find your own artistic style. Be inspired by others, certainly, but don't try to be them.

Very useful advice for learning how pony anatomy works, but try not to rely on this too heavily, or you'll be shit out of luck when you want to draw something not seen before in the show.

Your pony heads are not as bad as you think they are. You're overthinking it. They basically just have eggs for heads, with a slight bump for a muzzle when in profile.

That's actually pretty good, considering how fast you got it out. I like the little fang. So many people forget to add a tongue or teeth or something to the mouth, and it looks too empty.
The horn looks like it's coming off a little, though. I'd either move it back a little or move the forehead forward a little.

OP, the fastest way to git gud at drawing is to draw stuff from real life.
Grab a sketch book and don't stop drawing stuff you see. It may not be as fun as drawing ponies, but you'll improve way faster. Drawing bottles and cups is good for pratice because they teach you basic symmetry. Gesture drawings help you identify "motion" in a pose, which will help your drawings not look stiff.
Draw your room, draw cars outside, draw trees, but most importantly don't stop. The good drawfags here are at least competent at life drawings. If you neglect it, your art will always be lacking something.

So I wanted to personalize the thread for it when I decide to post it.
I created this image for the OP post or atleast the sketch / rough of it,
that i'll trace, color and shade with my cheap bamboo drawing tablet.
Been drawing ponies since 2012, but recently I've started drawing alot more
and I think it shows. Proportions are still a little wonky sometimes, but I got

Check their noses, they need to be much smaller than that. The one you drew for Pinkie was good, make one like that one for Twilight.
Rarity looks like a man. I'm not sure whether it's because of her snout, because her face (and jaw) is too large, or because of her general posture and foreleg making her look bulky. Kind of the same with Twilight and her neck.
You did get Pinkie and all of their manes right though, so bonus points for that.
