Not because of the CMC cutie mark thing, but because Diamond Tiara was always among my favorite fillies, and damn was she cool and sweet this episode.
It was obvious something so beautiful and cute can't be rotten to the core, and I got just what I was hoping for.
Also amazing songs. This episode was golden, and probably the one that made my eyes watery the most.

Diamond Tiara did not change, she's just got new friends but was just portrayed a different way, and that's why it's a good episode. I still think she's a great character, got personality and this will never change.

Her acts of aggression and dominance are an attempt of controlling what little part of her life her mother can't. The bullying places her in a position of power and control, something she had exerted upon her in every aspect of her home life.
She is a stereotypical case study of school bullies.
