As I promised around a week ago, I am back with the results of the formation of an MLP club at my highschool.
Four people, excluding myself, have officially joined and we had our first meeting Tuesday. It was basically a get-to-know-you affair, we stayed our names and our favourite part of the show or the fandom. We discussed everything rather broadly, everyone was quite open for discussion once they realised they were among other individuals willing to be open about it.
I've decided not to advertise it any, but to just get the word around to anyone who mentions their interest in the latter. I'd say it's a success, what do you guys think?

You could get creative with this OP. Imagine, with the school resources, you could start a project, be it am animation, a comic series, a flash game, you could use ponies to get these kids involved in academic fields they weren't previously motivated to try.
Seeing all these poni songs and animations got me interested and now I'm a half decent artist and starting animation. Over the next 9 months I'll also be spending more time with music production. These were all things I enjoyed before passively, but seeing people do it and finding friends who are animators, artists, and producers, made me realize I can do more then enjoy it passively
