Well, Radiance is so afraid of fucking up he usually panics at almost any type of responsibility. So he usually hands it off to someone else or persuades them to do so while he goes and hides somewhere.
Icarus, after several years of being compared to his mother, becomes apathetic. He believes he will never shine on his own without the name "Rainbow Dash," being mentioned. So why bother?
I'll admit I haven't thought much on Pogo. His aspirations and life dreams and all that. The opposite is true for Hotshot, but I haven't got much to compare between them as I only have a general gist for Pogo.

I usually put Abacus with Darcy as I never really saw Darcy with an ounce of business sense. Abacus would work hard to keep the farm afloat and manage finances and all that shit. Ignoring the mildly kinky overtones, this picture gives a decent enough example of how a horse leg functions, skeletally. So a real satyr probably couldn't squat too well, as they wouldn't have a large amount of elxibility just above the hoof (where our ankle is vertically, but the joint corresponds to toes, biologically).
That said, the ponies in the show are basically giant marshmallows, without too much strict rules on joints and flexibility.

When it's not "This is too lewd, whatever happened to the good old days with cute satyrs," it's "Why is everyone forcing [insert satyr here]? Can we actually focus on someone else for a change?" People complained about Utah whenever he was getting talked about, the same with Presto and Melody whenever they had their moments in the spotlight. It's more or less about the censorship of content. If someone writes a cute and short family fic and someone responds "We need more of this," well cool. If you liked it, that's great, but there's no gurantee that the person will always want to write in that specific genre with that specific satyr. People have tastes, and tastes can change. Content creaters are no exception, they'll feel inspired to write something interesting as long as they feel like doing so, that includes stories about sex, incest, particular satyrs, and other subjects alike. Really, the only constant untouchable satyr that someone won't complain about is Hope, on the grounds that she's 1.) A female, which drastically cuts her unlikeability and 2.) I feel like the odd man out here in that I always had her as a bit rebellious. She doesn't really want to stick around on the farm for her whole life. She wants to go out into the world and see what all lies in it before she decides what she wants with life.

Does anyone wonder what would happen if satyrs were the results of magical experimentation instead of happenstance magic pregnancies? Researchers from either humans, ponies, or both would somehow experiment on certain ponies and humans in order to find out if they could make hybrids for their own purposes. The human or pony gets modified to give and receive a certain gene sequence that allows them to procreate with another being.
First, only the Equestrians researchers (human and ponies) knew the procedure to create and implant the gene unsuspectingly among the ponies, causing the first satyr to come into existence. Then, other major nations got a hold of the sequence through espionage and soon had their version of hybrids either backed by a major organization, or implimented by fringe scientists. None of it is known by their government, as most of them just attribute it to weird magic stuff brought over by the humans.
Typically, the wealthier and stronger the nation, the more abominations they get (though there are exceptions). Mostly all of the hybrids are closely monitored by their manufacturers, due to certain plans each organization has with them for the future. The distribution and the instructions for the gene is contained for now, which is why the satyrs only number in about 100-200 instead of the thousands.

I had something like this in thought for the one iteration of my story i was working on. Closely monitored specialized hybrid kids. That was going to be background nonsense as the story focused on the kids doing things in their school. The main character kid trying to bring down the 'walls of the illusion' around them, freeing society or some nonsense.
