In Sombra's backstory comic, it was revealed that he became what he is because as a foal he saw the monster he'd become which he tried to prevent until he just accepted his role when he thought that there was no escaping it. Since cmc's destiny is to help others understand theirs, would you like to see them try to redeem Sombra by helping him a new purpose in life?

To make it clear, I'm not saying that it should be on the show, I was asking if you guys like the concept. In the comic Sombra is revealed to not actually be a pony, which means he has no cuite mark. Because of this, other foals bullied and ostracized him. This was a similar issue that cmc delat with as well. This could bring some interesting conversations between Sombra and the cmc

It'd be cool if Grogar came back, and as a modern twist have his bell clappers be unicorn horns which he collects, giving him access to the special magical talents of their owners. The season opener would have him locating Sombra's horn in the middle of the frozen wastes.

That is a pretty cool idea. Maybe they work together for awhile until Sombra get injured and left in Ponyville. He disguises himself and hangs out with the cmc. They make him realize that he doesn't to be the monster his people want him to be. Then Groger comes to Ponville to destroy the mane 6 but Sombra Beats him before the mane 6 even realize what's going on. The cmc then make Sombra an honorary cutie mark crusader
