Well, it's kind of still bound by the fact this has to be broadcast to kids.

There's definitely something to frequency. The more often she uses a spell the easier it is for her.
In Season 1 it felt like she would cast teleport just to practice it even when it was overkill. In the pilot she seemed to have difficulty with it then in Applebucking Season she spammed the shit out of it while talking to Applejack.
As for the Ursa Minor thing, she had never lifted anything that large (to our knowledge) and she had never milked all those cows at once.
All of the apples... well lifting a single apple-sized item is probably pretty easy... I don't know how targeting works but if they're ready to harvest, just pulling up on everything might work? ...or take all the leaves off with them.
Plus we're going to have to give the animation staff a little leniency. Unless it's clearly scripted it could be an exaggeration beyond what the rest of the staff feels is reasonable.
