Fluttershy may have been Discord's first genuine friend, but he's always held a particular interest in wearing on Twilight Sparkle's patience ever since he was first freed from his statue prison. Though the degree of antagonism varies, of late he's taken to working from behind an aegis of assistance. He can impart some important life lessons to the young princess, yes? Often as not, however, he also manages to be hoist by the products of his own meddling. It kind of puts a damper on doing it too frequently.
At least he is taking steps towards befriending more ponies and such despite this.Smooze looked pretty happy to get out and about again.

I remember learning Cyrillic to play that Day Z game. That was such a fun time standing around a sign with my friends trying to mispronounce the name of the town we were in so we could figure out where we were.
Then I saw a lot of the Cyrillic letters were also in Greek and had more motivation to learn the general sound of the letters.
My brain hasn't been wired to read it fast enough for sentences though. I can pick our loanwords but sentences are in still in Russian, not English.

I had some regular russian dream. In it soviet army was in Iraq and lost one some sort of flamethrowing tank on road and they couldn't get to it because all forces were surrounded by ISIS. So they asked the only one who they found - me and my cousin (female) as 10 years old kids to get that important tank to safety and not let enemies get it. So we dragged it to our house in russian village but ISIS were coming for it. We tried to ask for help , but our neighbour only talked about tolerance to transgender. At last i got idea - we went to kitchen, got ourselves knives, called for other cousin (also female) and prepared an ambush. So when ISIS member went to our yard, where we left the tank, and started looking at it, we attacked and stabbed him as much as we could. He ran to our toiliet and closed himself in there. After that he only tried to get himself knife (he had no weapon for some reason) and we were trying to stab him even more.

No one had any right to quit the fandom forever because MMC. We knew about it before Season 3 even started. I was a little bitter for a while but fuck it, everyone on the show was happy about it. How can you be mad at your friend (or a character you feel for) for accomplishing something amazing? Fuck it was rushed, fuck it's handles oddly sometimes afterwards, but it happened.
I think a lot of it comes down to things happening, us reading into them until we internalize what we think they mean, then getting mad when the show "conflicts" with itself.
There are very few times it's actually straight up retconned something. Watching Winter Wrap Up then Family Appreciation Day you could get the impression that Granny must be like "hundreds" of years old. Either that's true or they didn't like one throwaway line spoken years ago.
