Who else hasn't watched/ seen only bits and pieces of season 4-5?
I know I haven't.
And I'm just waiting for something better than MLP to come along. Goddamn, its taking way to long. Good thing there is plenty of porn to fap too and fan content to cringe at.
Nice obvious b8, faggot, heres your reply.
I haven't truly watched the show since MMC.
I still occasionally try to watch newer episodes in hope to have at least a bit of fun, but all I get is cringe and disappointment.
>You can still be a fan, even though you watched only three seasons.
It doesn't work like that, anon. That makes you either a former-fan, or a casual. And it would literally cost you nothing to sit down and marathon the episodes you missed, especially if you apparently have enough time to post on a board for a cartoon you no longer enjoy.
Let me put it this way. You don't watch the show, yet come to this board to partake in the fandom. That makes you a fan of the fandom, and thus cancer.
What's even worse is that you feel the need to constantly let people know you don't watch the show anymore, as if trying to validate your pathetic reasoning for still visiting the board. Like a cry for attention.
Nobody cares, cancer. Go watch another flavor of the month cartoon, sit down and watch the show, or stay here and shut the fuck up.
>I stopped watching almost 3 years ago but I'm certainly not a fan of the fandom
>It doesnt make me cancer, when I expect quality in a show ive invested myself in that ive gotten before. Only to be dissapointed again and again at what was lost.
Im not the enemy here anon.
That doesn't make you cancer anon. You're allowed to not like the show. Hell, you're allowed to criticize it and even shit on it, giving it 3/10 or whatever the fuck.
What does make you cancer is not watching at all, yet still participating in show discussion threads. Also, creating threads LITERALLY to say you don't watch the show anymore.
Newsflash: nobody gives a fuck that you stopped watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Nobody cares that you no longer gain enjoyment from it. In literally every other fandom, when someone stops enjoying the source material they either fuck off or simply participate in fan shit without feeling the need to shit on those that still like the source.
Only in this fandom have I seen screaming idiots who hate the show but somehow still can't stop watching it or coming here.
Do you feel like Twilight in today's episode? All left out while everyone else enjoys things you don't? Get over it. Go watch SU or some shit.
>fan of the fandom
Literally everyone on /mlp/ is a fan of the fandom. If you're such a fandom-hating purist, then what the fuck are you doing here, posting and saving pictures of ponies made by FANdom on a board made for FANs and filled with shitty greentext FANfics?
I'm a fan of the show, m8. I collect pictures of characters from the SHOW. Even if it is by fans, it's about Twilight Sparkle, or Mayor Mare, not fan OC#34.
I come here to talk about the show, not to read crappy greentexts. As a matter of fact, a lot people who write greentexts don't actually watch the fucking show, which I suspect is the main reason most greentexts are such shit.
Get it? I'm here to absorb artwork and discussion based on the show itself, not simply art for art's sake. I know these characters, I follow their adventures, for better or for worse. There's a term the sports world has for fucks like you who quit when their autism gets triggered.
Fair weather fans.
He wasn't criticizing fans of the show who also like fanmade content, he's criticizing ex-fans of the show who still stick around despite no longer enjoying the source material and not staying loyal to what got them into the fandom in the first place.
>urr show is dead to me
>why are you still here then?
>MUH RIDE NEBER ENDS!!1
>As a matter of fact, a lot people who write greentexts don't actually watch the fucking show
Do you have any facts to back that up, or is that just like the desperate validation to justify your shitty reason for being here pulled straight outta your ass?
I've talked to multiple greentext writers who've confirmed they don't watch the show. They literally just gleam the basics of the characters from threads here and then proceed to get anon into his waifu's pussy as soon as possible. Don't believe me? Go ask any of your favorite writefags. I dare you.
>yfw you share a board with people who hate the show but can't stop coming here
Anecdotal evidence that I'm seeing no screenshots or other tangible substance to support. But I'll play your game: I know several greentext writers who watch the show obsessively to capture the characterizations as accurately as possible.
I am one, from a couple of the recurring threads.
>Obligatory "You either like everything about the show or get out" post
>tfw watched the show all the way through multiple times
i get the feeling people who write generally care more about the show than your average anon. after all, we do it >for free.
>Obligatory "it's not bitching and complaining, it's LEGITIMATE CRITICISM" post
>I don't watch the show anymore, but here are my opinions on things I've never seen
>My opinions are more valid than yours
>If you don't like what I like you shoud get out
>My opinions are more valid than yours
>If you don't like the thing that's the topic of the board, you're the one in the wrong place
>youre allowed to dislike the show as long as youve seen it
>"I didn't like the episode because [opinions]"
>"Woah anon stop bitching if you don't enjoy the show then what are you doing here?"
>"I didn't like the episode because [legitimate reasons]"
>"What the fuck anon it's just a show for little girls are you autistic or something?
>>"I didn't like the episode because [opinions]"
Nobody's saying that's a bad thing. Plenty of people here shit on the show. But at least they fucking watch it.
We're shitting on people who DON'T watch the show yet feel they have a right to an opinion on shit.
It's true, though. Every time someone writes a wall of text to explain in detail why he didn't like an episode or some particular part of it, everyone suddenly goes into full-buzzword mode and starts screaming about autism.
