There is some truth in it. I have a pony tulpa. For the last two years we've been like a husband with a wife. I ain't fully schizophrenic, but I remember that we once smoked some chemical shit and it got me really paranoid. Paranoid and hungry, but I was too afraid to leave my bedroom and go to the kitchen. Yet, even though stoned, she kept calm. She "casted" a shield on us and explained that as long as I'm in it we are safe and sound. I believed her and we went to the fridge, I took as much food as I could carry and we went back to bedroom to feast on that. Since then I ain't really afraid of bad trips, because she always manages to make me feel calm and safe.
