>You find the town.
>Though, it's..
>Not quite what you expect.
>The houses are intact.
>Everything looks 'normal', although, as expected there don't seem to be any people here.
>Last time you were able to see the dark Aura of the manor.
>But you see nothing this time.
>Just, a rather normal town.
>She only said the bottles were given out.
>But she never specified which houses they were in.
>It looks like you'll have to just pick houses at random and hope the one you go inside isn't somehow filled with monsters.
>Prudence said they were given to the townsfolk.
>Which means they won't be in any main buildings.
>They'll be in houses.
"Alright Anon, hand over that Super Soaker."
>"Sure thing, you wanna purge these hellspawn too right? Thats why we're here isn't it?"
"Riight.. So, Anon, what exactly, what are, your goals, in life?"
>"To worship the lord, to purge the demons who pollute the land, to follow the teachings of God."
"So, nothing else? Do you remember anything about our time together?"
>"What else is there? All I remember is being sent to this land by God."
>You ready your soaker.
>It's.. Time you returned the favor for all the times he's saved you.
>You open up the door to the first house.
>It creaks open slowly echoing.
>Its pitch black inside only the entrance is barely illuminated.
>You can't see much else.
>You call out,
"Hello, is anyone there? If anyone is inside the house, please respond."
>You see just for a second a ghost.
>You hear a noise like something being hastily scratched into wood.
>You can see from the light of the doorway
>T.O.R.T.U.R.E.D
>Etched roughly into the walls.

>No use in being scared off by warnings.
>After all, ghosts can't harm you.
>The only things you should worry about are the things that can.
>If you could turn into a pony without Anon freaking out you would.
>And Anon probably won't use his eagle mode either.
>So you're stuck with your own wits.
>You walk inside the house, surrounded in darkness.
>You sort of fumble around.
>All the downstairs rooms are locked.
>There has to be a light here somewhere..
>Nothing in the drawer by the entrance.
>This house seems fairly large, so maybe a larger family lived here..
>Nothing really seems too moved or damaged, light leaks in through the windows in some places.
>You're walk up a flight of stairs.
>These old stairs creak and make echoing noises in the quiet of the house.
>And these houses, aren't heated, it feels about as cold in here as outside, if not somehow colder.
>You only get a vague sense that you probably shouldn't be here.
>But I mean, it could just be that you're going through someone elses home.
>Thats probably it..

>You walk upstairs.
>Nothing too weird so far.
>Just empty silence in this old house.
>You've been cautious this whole time just walking through here.
>Maybe this town was just abandoned after the Malformed attacked.
>You go through all the rooms, most are locked for whatever reason.
>You do find one that isn't.
>Inside you find a lantern, and a ring with one key on it.
>Luckily you left when it was light out or you wouldn't be able to see at all.
>You open up the doors on this floor with that key, inspecting all the rooms.
>There are 5 rooms here.
>There seem to be valuables like a jewelry box, but there isn't any need to grab those.
>You find another old key and attach it to the ring.
>You decide to make your way to the bottom floor again.
>The first key doesn't work on these, but, the second one..
>It opens up.
>You haven't found any potions or bottles so far in any of the rooms.
>But these stairs lead downward into the basement.
>Maybe they stored other valuables down here?
>You light the lantern and make your way down.
>There are shelves here with bottles on them.
>But all the bottles seem empty, and there are other bottles of wine with layers of dust on them.
>Looks like theres nothing down here.
>For as interesting as things started here, it seems to be a false alarm.
>You make your way back up from the basement.
>You walk out of the house.
>Well that seems wasteful..

>Just then you hear the sound of churchbells ringing echoing through the aptly named Silenceville.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6qZ9A6GFik
>You suddenly see huge Malformed crawl their way up out of the ground zombie style.
>You hose them down with the water.
>It burns them away, but more keep coming.
>Anon is firing his gun as well.
>But he's clearly not on top of his game right now, almost as if he's distracted..
>Suddenly you see darkness drag across the sky, light fades from it as the landscape is cloaked in night.
>What on earth?
>Suddenly your surroundings change, everything becomes strange and broken looking.
>Broken crates, doors ripped off the hinges, claw marks on wood walls and broken windows.
>There is blood marks like where people might have been slaughtered at one point.
>Malformed are teeming in the streets in overwhelming numbers now over 20 of them.
>But there weren't any in the houses?
>Maybe its safe in the houses?
>Where are you supposed to find those bottles?
>Suddenly you hear pained screams, like someone being viciously assaulted.
>And then more, and all over, all their screams repeated in an infinite loop coming as if from nowhere.
(cont)
>>
>>25612696
>You run to a different house hoping the thing isn't locked.
>All these monsters, now flying malformed swooping down from the sky, and hellhounds as if from nowhere.
>You rush into the house letting Anon inside and closing the door.
>You expect clawing or banging from the other side, but it's silent.
>You suddenly realize it's very dark in this house.
>Your lantern illuminating very little.
>You hear something very rapidly crawl above you, but its gone before you can see what it is.
>You now have a very uncomfortable sense that you shouldn't be here.
>The screams now only faintly audible in the distance but still unsettling.
>You walk over to the first door in front of you.
>You try opening it, you twist the knob and wriggle the handle.
>Locked..
>Suddenly something pounces on you from behind.
>An eyeless pale humanoid creature digging its claws into your and biting into your shoulder.
>Its too strong, you try pushing it off but it has this otherworldly grip on you as it rips into you.
>Anon shoots it in the back.
>It screeches before disintegrating into light.
>Your body throbs as you feel it burn into your shoulder.
>Your body convulses, and spasms slightly as you feel something nasty sink into you.
>Why didn't you bring your armor? Why couldn't you be a pony for this?

What should you do?
>>
Holy fuck, what a way to start the thread off, OP. I knew you wouldn't let us down.

Anyway, it might be a good idea to pour some holy water on us, and see if that takes care of it. And it might also be a good idea to see if Anon can be convinced to let us go Pony. Try to tell him it's "God's blessing!" Can't make it too obvious that we have the power though, until we're sure he's fine with it. And if he isn't, than we make do.

>You hose yourself down with holy water.
>It hurts like heck, but the pain subsides mostly.
>This is no good.
>Without using your magic you're a sitting duck here.
>You're not nearly as tough or have the reflexes Anon did when he was fighting this way.
>You decide to take a chance.
"Ah, oh look! The lord himself blesseth me! And now I am suddenly a mythical Unicorn!"
>"It cannot be! You are but a human are you not?"
"Uh, the Lord! He works in mysterious ways? Yes! I am, the angel incarnate, given new flesh to defeat the powers of evil!"
>"Hmm, I don't really remember any unicorns in the bibl-"
"It's fine, I'm an Angel! I can do magic! See?"
>You float the lantern.
>He looks confused.
"Y-you, believe me, right?"
>"Well, if you were an agent of evil, surely other evil creatures wouldn't attack you."
"Ah, yes? Well, um, lets continue our trek shall we?"
>Well, if the last house is any indication of the way this one is laid out, then none of the bottom doors will open without a key.
>You pull out the last set of keys.
"Just in case.."
>You try both keys to open the lock.
>Alas, they seem useless here.
>You get the awful feeling that it's unwise to linger in any given area for too long.

What do?

Smooth, Sunset, real smooth. Good stuff that we can be a pony now though.

Since this house seems to be a bust, we might need to chance it, and sneak into another one. Keep the soaker handy, so if we need to make a mad dash, we can. We just have to keep testing our luck until one of these houses gives us results.

>You turn it with your magic wriggling it.

>You keep going.
>You keep walking down the hallway.
>You're pretty sure these hallways loop around, which means, if you go too far..

>But, at the same time..
>Just to be here is dangerous especially without Anon at his best.
>You try another door, but it's locked just the same.
>This is beyond frustrating.
>You travel further down the hall.
>Another locked door.
>You feel yourself tense up.
>You can see those creatures faintly outlined in the light of the lantern.

>Parts of entrails hang from the ceilings, dripping blood everywhere.
>The sight is enough to cause you to vomit.
>How can Anon see all this and not be affected?
>Its overwhelmingly frustrating.
>You search around looking for the key.
>Other organs and body parts as if someone was gruesomely torn apart in this room.
>You think you see something metal, and in the worst possible place.

>This lantern isn't doing much to light it, but you know those hellish things are in the room.
>Anon hasn't seemed to notice, where the hell is his mind right now!?
>You fire wildly, Anon just now realizing the intruders begins to look for them.
>The grotesque slurping sounds, the sloppy chewing noises.
>You hesitantly shine the lantern on them.
>They're eating the organs.
>Maybe the scent drew them in here or something.

>But as the sound continues, you hear it's only a music box.
>You open the door.
>You float the lantern inside.
>It looks, fairly ordinary.
>You cautiously enter.
>You see a rag doll on a little chair.
>Its, oddly alluring..
>Something about it draws you to it.
>You walk over picking it up with your hooves.
>Suddenly your mind goes blank, and something plays in your mind like a picture show.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6qZ9A6GFik
>You're viewing the scene through the eyes of a little girl as you hold your moms hand and the rag doll in the other.
>There are towsnpeople, and an old man of darker skin speaking with each other.
>"Those who speak heresy are enemies of God!!"
>"Hear me out! By feeding this fear, this hatred you have, you're only drawing them closer! I have seen their movements from afar, this town draws great darkness toward it, if you don't heed my warning this town will be consumed in darkness and it will be too late!"
>"Get out of here heretic!"
>"The only one bringing darkness is you!"
>"We won't be deceived!"
>They throw rocks at the old man warning them.
>You look up at the mother with an unsettling grin as the scene unfolds.
>He flees, but in his eyes lingers a worry which does not seem to be for himself.
>And just like that, you're back in the room.

What do?
>>
>>25618731
An old man of dark skin... another wiccan?
We should try to use the new key.
>>
>>25618731
Thanks for giving us a bit of help there, OP. Seems we were all unaware that we had more to do in that house.

Seems like it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to look around this room more, and this house, for any object that could give us more of these visions. They may help us answer fully just what happened here, and the coming of the Sirens. And yeah, figuring out where that new key goes is a good idea too. I think we can handle anything this house throws at us for the most part, as long as Anon is sorta on alert.

Speaking of which, just in case, why not see if the doll does anything for him. If nothing else, we can at least see how limited its "magic" is.
>>
>>25618731
After all the shit we are putting Sunset through, we owe her a kid.
>>
>>25619349
Damn straight we do. She's had to put up with way too much of our shit
>>
>>25619441
Still need to figure out a way for her to stay human for extended periods of time as well as allowing her to use magic in human form, but beyond that there isn't really much of a real reason to not put a kid in her.
>>
>>25619487
Well, if current affairs allow us to after we defeat the Sirens, than we definitely have to give her at least one. We'll figure all the magic stuff out, I'm sure, but we need her safe if she's going to be sidelined for an extended period of time. And we'll need to make sure the town doctors could even deliver.
>>

>You decide to give the doll to Anon.
>He holds it looking at it.
>"Why are you giving me this?"
"Do you, see anything?"
>"No, not really."
>You sigh deciding to take the doll with you as you search the room.
>"You seem to like my dollie."
>That voice rings shivers up your spine as you can hardly breathe to turn around.
>A little girl stands in the room behind you.
"W-where were you? I didn't see you just a second ago."
>"I was hiding under my bed because I heard someone come in."
"I.. I'm sorry."
>You pull out the doll trying to give it to her.
>"You should hang onto it, my doll always seemed to help me when I was scared."
>You look at the thing.
>You sigh not really wanting to argue.
"So what are you doing in his place? Who are you?"
>"My name is Amnesty. I should ask you the same thing."
"I.. I'm Sunset, this here is Anon."
>Anon is over throwing books on the floor that were on the shelf.
"Anon come on, get it together!"
>"There might be a clue or something around here about how to stop the demons."
"Maybe try looking IN, the books?"
>"That would be too obvious, I bet it's scrawled on the bookshelf in blood behind the books."
>"Is he always this bright?"
>You lean in whispering.
"Well, he's usually at least a little brighter, but, theres this brainwashing curse thing.. Thats actually why we're here."
>"I see, you heard about that gypsy who entered our town. You'd be pretty hard pressed to find those bottles after what this town has been through."
"I know, but, it's at least worth a try, do you know where the bottles might be located?"
>"We keep all the stuff we don't normally use in the basement, I imagine if we had any someone probably put it down there."

>You exit the room with her.
"How have you survi-"
>"Shh, the dark ones will hear your voice."
>You walk down the hall opening another door with the key.
>The room seems normal.
>You look around, but find nothing of interest.
>Maybe all the locked doors are, normal?
>Bah nothing here makes any sense.
>You try the next room.
>Again nothing.
>You try the last room opening it up.
>After careful examination you find a second key.
>You now have four keys in total.
>This second key just like the last house should open all the doors on the lower floor.
>You walk down the hall.
>The eyeless ones are standing around in the hall.
>You take aim, but Amnesty seems to be trying to hold you back by putting her hand in your face.
>You uncomfortably walk toward them and past them.
>Anon seems to be in la la land as he almost barely reacted.

>Another scream.
>You swallow hard as you prepare yourself for what might be down there..
>You walk down the steps.
>Inside is a live naked woman chained to the floor and ceiling.
>On her back are whip marks.
>Theres some kind of big muscular humanoid with a burlap sack mask beating on her with a chain.
>Her screams echo loudly through the basement.
>You ready your gun.
>Amnesty presses your face hard with a very serious look on her face.
>"You can't beat him. He is one of the torturers of the damned."
"What?!"
>"The dead here cannot rest."
"What, but that woman isn't dead!"
>"Almost everyone here is dead."
"W-wait, that means, are you-"
>"I can't leave this place, no one can, once you've gone in, theres no getting out. You can walk out far past the town into the woods, but you'll always wind up right past here."
"N-no, thats.."
>"Once a town has become consumed by the dark ones, a part of hell intersects with earth."
"H-how can we, there has to be a way-"
>"Even I don't know everything."
"I.. I don't see any bottles, or.. Anything.."
>"Then we shouldn't overstay our welcome."
>You, Amnesty, and Anon make your way out of the basement.

>No.. No come on, there has to be a way out..

"Hey, so, which house, is likely to have the cure?"
>"I'm not sure, it could be any of the people who were there when the Gypsies came to town."
"What can you tell me about that day?"
>"It wasn't a day, or even a couple of days. They were here for a while, probably a few months. They seemed pretty wise to me, always talking about better ways to do things, but.."
"But what?"
>"The church didn't like them very much."
"So, what happened?"
>"It's better if we don't stay in one place, the dark ones can feel it, if you stay still for too long, they'll come for you, they're like vultures that prey upon the weak. You'll find no mercy here, if you're weak, this place will break you."

"I, hate to ask, but why.. Why are the screams so loud out here?"

"So most of them died out in the streets?"
>"You can hear it can't you? But then, not everyone was completely caught off guard."
"What do you mean?"
>"Some hid, in their houses. But the dark ones could feel their fear.."
>You walk to a house with a door ripped off the hinges.
>"Once most of us had been consumed, the darkness came and took us here. Anything caught in this place was taken too."
"So does that mean anyone who goes here-"
>She nods.
>"You're not the first to walk in here, looters wander in sometimes to pick over the remains, and then.."
>Was that what you saw on the stairs being devoured?
>This town is a death trap..
>"It feeds, and feeds.. Soon this town might-"

"Quit trying to stop me, I can take these!"
>"Your negative emotions will only draw more of them, even if you defeat 2, or 10, can you defeat 50, or 100?"
"There are really that many here!?"
>"This town has been lost for a while, it's had all this time to feed. The best thing you can do is calm yourself."
"W-what the heck am I supposed to do, just pretend they aren't there!?"
>"I don't know, but I know fighting them head on is a sure way to get yourself killed."

>Anon too has that same look.

>It takes a few minutes, but they pass.
"So wait, does this trick always work?"
>"It seems to work better in groups, they seem to be more concerned with territory."
"What does that mean?"
>"Well, the dark ones don't always travel in groups, if you find one alone, chances are it's a hunter."
"Does this mean the groups are less aggressive?"
>"I wouldn't say that, its hard to put into words but, I feel a lot of dark negative things when I'm around one of them, so its sort of like-"
"The negativity between all of them interferes with their senses?"
>"Or at least that its so strong that people who can remain passive or docile around them are kind of invisible to them."
"Interesting."

>You walk inside the house.
"So, if we see a hunter, on it's own, would it-"
>"If you can, its better to kill it, it shouldn't draw that much attention if it's just one."
"So wait, how do YOU deal with them?"
>"I don't. If I'm wandering around groups I simply don't acknowledge them, and if I see a hunter, I run."
"You can run fast enough to get away?"
>"Yeah, it helps if you zig zag a little bit, or have an escape plan just in case."
"But you just said they'll find you if they sense fear.."
>"I'm never afraid when I run, I guess I've always been a bit emotionally withdrawn, Mom always said I was smart for my age."
>You walk to the first door on the bottom.
>You jiggle the handle.
>You try all four keys.
>You can't open it, and it's locked.
>The house seems laid out in a manner which is oddly identical to the other ones.

What do?
>>
>>25626875
Damn, that was worth the wait. Good stuff, OP.

Seems like it'd be best to try the basement first this time around, and see if we can find anything down there. Afterwards, the upstairs too, again. Even if we can't find the cure in this house, these keys bring us one step closer it when we find them. And glad we have this new partner with us too. This information of hers can really help us out in the future.

Not too sure that'd be a good idea, Anon. We don't want to get ourselves killed by attracting Malformed attention.

>But, you also don't want to attract any unwanted attention so you decide against it.
>The best thing to do right now is just keep calm and look for the keys and medicine.
>Every single time the keys you need are upstairs.
>So, logic would dictate if these places are the same and theres any observable pattern..
>You decide to walk up the stairs.
>Anon is starting to look worse.
>His eyes look sullen, he just has this look on his face like..
>Theres just nothing at all inside of him.
>Like he's, just a puppet, or a walking corpse.
>How could the sirens brainwashing be affecting him this badly?
>Maybe the sirens were just more dangerous than you gave them credit for.
>All the more reason to stop them.
>Like the other times you try opening these doors.
>Locked.

>You can hardly be surprised at this point, locked doors and monsters are a hallmark of the hell on earth this place is.
>You desperately make your way down these halls.
>All the while, you feel yourself just..
>Feeling this crushing despair..
>This Amnesty girl, who's been here who knows how long, shes stuck here, and you've been fighting these creatures just like she has.
>She's about the same as Anon is, only there's a small light in her eyes.
>Its hard to think she's been here all this time unable to escape.
>It really makes you begin to question whether or not there will be a way to escape.
>You open the door.
>Its a white room with some kind of steam coming up through the floor.
>You hear the sounds of crying.
>You shine the lantern seeing people hung from the ceiling by their necks from a shackle.
>They're limbless, just hanging there.
>Cut up and torn, you get the awful feeling these people have been here for ages just like Amnesty.
>You quiver feeling this terrible feeling in the pit of your stomach.
>You walk over to a wood table with, messes of limbs and organs all over it.
>You find another key.
>You quietly exit the room.
>You feel tears run down your face..
>Why, why do these people need to suffer?
>It hurt to see them, to know they've gone through such immense pain..
>You turn the key in the door searching the room.
>Nothing.

>Room after room you search.
>You find the second key.
>You head back downstairs.
>You hear footsteps on the food flooring.
>Through the darkness, a tall humanoid creature with a burlap sack wanders toward you.
>He's carrying a wood-chopping axe.
"I'll show you, how me and Anon take care of hunters like this guy."
>Anon fires along with you as if on que.
>You hose him down with water, Anon firing bullets into him.
>Bullets fall off of him like BBs.
>The water drenches him as it washes unclean blackness off of him, but doesn't seem to harm him at all.
"B-but how?!"
>"Torturers of the Damned cannot be killed."
"This guy is one of those? The last one we saw was in the basement though!"
>"It's probably looking for another lost soul wandering around."
"So he's just acting like a hunter?"
>The creature lumbers up the stairs.
>"Sort of, he's probably looking for someone, and once it finds them, it'll incapacitate them, and drag them wherever, where it will do terrible things to them for all eternity."
"B-but why.. Why is this place so cruel.. Why.."
>"I don't think now is the time to worry about that."
"I can't! Its not fair for these people to suffer!"
>"People do terrible things, this is their punishment, our punishment. I suppose we'll all have our day when the torturer will come for us, and we'll be savagely mutilated forever."

>The thought makes you sick..
>Anon taps you on the shoulder.
"Anon?"
>"Have you, ever just thought, about consuming someones flesh?"
>His eyes are empty, and they're turning yellow.
>You shove him away.
"W-what the hell Anon, of course I haven't!"
>"Thats weird, I've just been hearing these little voices in my head the whole time. I just wanna wait in the dark for someone to come by, and then I want to jump on them, bite into their shoulder, and then their neck, and rip out their-"
>You charge at him and slam him into a wall pounding on him with your hooves.
"No, no dammit! Stop it! Stop saying these things!! I can't take it! I just can't take it!"
>"Shh! You'll draw the dark ones-"
"How did this happen? Why is this happening?!"
>You sob into him.
>Your chest hurts so badly..
>All you want to do is just get the medicine and leave this awful place..

>You try to compose yourself as you steadily move the key into the door for the basement.
>It creaks open, and the stairway downward is revealed.
>You cautiously move down the stairs.
>The room seems, fairly normal.
>You see over on a little table, there is a bottle, and another key.
>There weren't any other keys in the basements, what is this one for?
>You hear dripping noises.
>Something hits your face like a drop of rain.
>You wipe it, it's blood?
>You look up.
>A grate with all sorts of organs is above you.
>The grate opens up and you're buried under a mass of human innards.
>You scream as you're swimming in this stuff.
>Soaked in blood it's just gross feeling.
>Your lantern is gone and put out in all the blood, lost in this sea of innards.
>You float the bottle and key from the table quickly walking back up the steps.
>You run out with Anon and Amnesty you're all covered in blood and guts as you run leaving the house.
>You try to brush yourselves off.
>The disgusting smell, it's all over you.
>Everything is coated in blood.
>You begin to tear up again.
>This little bottle.
>You hope whatever is in it will bring back Anon, you can't take another moment of this hell without him.
>You sit him down and open his mouth making him inject the liquid.

>The yellow from his eyes is fading, and the light from his natural eyes seems to be returning.
>It's a few more minutes before he seems to be back to his old self.
>>
>>25629838
"Anon, Anon!"
>You hug him.
>"W-where, is this? Why is everything so dark and.. Why are you, why are we, covered in blood?"
>You take the time to explain everything that happened since he was brainwashed.
>He seems to believe it.

You now assume the role of Anonymous
>All this stuff shes telling you, you can remember pieces of it, like it was a dream, or perhaps more appropriately a nightmare.

>You can only imagine she's had a hell of a time.

Figure out what has happened.

Try finding the most central and important looking building in the area.

In addition, does anyone think that the little girl is a little... suspicious?
>>
>>25629851
Holy shit, thank god we got Anon back. Definitely give that poor pony a hug back and assure her that everything will be fine, but make sure to let her know how damn proud we are of her. We'll figure a way out of this hell hole.

Personally, I feel like we should check out that bell, as when it rung originally, that's when this shit popped up. Maybe we can escape if we can find a way to ring it again. But in the meantime, we also gotta figure out how we can purify this place. Be it by defeating the Sirens, or some other way, the souls here deserve to be put to rest.

>What exactly happened here?
>The town was taken over, and then suddenly it's hell?
>You saw something like this in the Manor but..
>How is it different?
>Is it, because there are more people involved?
>Yeah, it has to be, Anonsburg never actually fell, but those spirits still needed to be contained somewhere.
>Possibly divine containment?
>Seems like a stretch..
>But those demons want to turn this entire planet into what this town is, you remember clearly.
>They have no end goals except to fuck everything up.
>They mock human values, and torment the people toying with their emotions.
>They use the darkness of humanity against itself.
>Truly demons in every sense of the word.
>You hold Sunset close as you try to comfort her.

>You look for important looking buildings.
>The one that stands out the most to you is..
>You walk toward the church passing demons.
>Sunset tells you not to fight them, which seems weird to you.
>But her advice is sound as the Malformed don't seem to notice you.
>On the front door of the church is a giant ornate lock of sorts.
>On the lock are seven holes for keys.
"Sunset, we have seven keys just like you said right?"
>"Yep!"
>She floats to you a ring of keys.
>"How odd, I've passed this building many times, I always assumed the lock was just meant to mock us. To those who seek salvation the doors of the church are shut to us."
>You turn to the little girl.
"Uh, yes, though fortunately it seems this is more a literal lock than a metaphorical one."

Well, this looks to be about right, what will you do?
>>
>>25630610
If it is like the manor, we should expect to find one or more of those giant malformed. Do we have our granades? Maybe even Amnesty could get a weapon and help us fight if needed.

"Are you, the final dark priest?"
>"I wasn't born a demon if thats what you're asking. I'm afraid I was born of the inferior human variety."
"Well good, that'll make this easy then."
>You aim your gun and fire.
>However the bullet hits something invisible and falls to the ground.
>"The power of my organ protects me."
>It figures it wouldn't be that easy.
>"Tell me, for what purpose have you come to this place, I will keep it in mind long after I've sent you off to the torturers as I play dark hymns for Lord Lucifer."
>You notice on the back of his hand clearly branded 666.
"We sought the only good to ever grace your town before you chased them off."
>"Ah, the gypsies, they were a threat to my reign over this town, I had to convince the lot of them they were heretics."
"So you knew then.."
>"But the world isn't so black and white. People won't simply believe any nonsense, I validated their fears they already held, there was already darkness in their hearts and I merely reinforced it."

>Sunset speaks up.
>"How could you!? Look whats happened to your town! All these people are being tortured, and will be forever now!"
>"When the town was taken, I closed myself off in the church, and thats when he showed up in all his dark glory. As long as I sold my miserable soul to him I could avoid torture and reign over this town for all time!"
"You're pathetic scum you know that?"
>"Call me what you like, but this planet is doomed to fall to the dark ones soon enough! I'll be a king reigning for all time by his side!"
>He slams his fingers down on the organ knocking you all back.
>You run forth firing your guns, Sunset firing her soaker, but your weapons do naught but fall short before him.
>He conducts his organ and Malformed rise from the ground.
>"YES, yes look at me! Look at the power I have!"
>You fire into the Malformed burning them away into specks of light.
>"Such insolence with your blessed weapons! But how long will you hold out!?"
>He slams down again and more rise forth, and suddenly more are coming through the doors.
"Sunset get the doors!"
>She tries but it's too late, they're flooding through the doors.
>The priest laughs a wicked laugh.
>"Yes! Fools! Fall before my demonic orchestra!"
>There are hundreds surrounding you.
>You can't possibly hold out.

What will you do?

We have to disable that organ somehow. Maybe not in a direct way, but ricocheting our shots is worth trying.
>>
>>25631056

>>
>>25631081
Fuck that guy, we'll turn his own little army here against him. We need to relax, and don't attack, don't let them sense our fear. They're in a pack, and that's good for us. The priest will either catch on, know this is a thing, OR they attack him (attempt to attack?) while he flips shit. We use this as our chance to attack him, or at the very least, take out the organ.

Or we'll die, so I mean, there's that.

"You got any ideas on how we can get outta this Sunset?"
>"Well, he's fighting with a musical weapon, if I had some instruments, maybe we could fight back?"
"Do musical instruments automatically come equipped with the power to fight evil? Whatever, I'd be willing to give it a shot, but, I don't even know if theres a single musical instrument in this whole town.."
>"If only Trinity or Patience were here, we would stand a much better chance."
"Lets try standing still, if we do that, maybe they won't see us.."
>Calm down, focus.
>Serenity, peace..
>The demons stop.
>You carefully inch your way through the crowds.
>Its slow, and harrowing.
>"What are you fools doing!? They're getting away!!"
>Slowly, slowly, if you bump one of them, it's not going to be pretty.
>This is a convenient weak-point you'd never even considered when fighting them before.
>But how would you even know?
>Who would think to keep calm around demons?
>You sneak out of the church.

"Well, maybe we can try walking out of town, and-"
>"Anon, Amnesty said once we're here we're stuck."
"So we can't leave? How are we supposed to get help? Or instruments?"

What do?
>>
>>25631437
We should probably ask Amnesty if she knows where we can find something musical here. If she comes up with nothing, than we could try to make do with whatever we can find, assuming it's enough.

And hey, we still have that book Patience gave us, right? Because if we do, we could try getting her or Trinity to help out, be it tips, or physical help, if we're lucky.
>>
>>25631574
"Amnesty, you wouldn't happen to know of any musical instruments here would you?"
>"No one in our town really played music, except for the gypsies."
"Well, fucking great.."
>Wait a minute.
>You pull out the book Patience gave you.
>Pleeeeeeease for the love of god, work through a demonic dimension.
>"Hey, isn't that the book Patience gave you?"
"Yeah, whaddya think, is she gonna go to hell to help us?"
>"It's worth a try, maybe she can bring some instruments, and maybe Trinity can come too."
"Maybe I should just tell them we're putting together a band out here and we're gonna play songs for a little town called Silenceville."
>Sunset gives you a disapproving look.
>"You should tell the truth Anon."
"Yeah yeah I know. Well, maybe this is why it's called Silenceville right?"

>Dear Patience, we are currently trapped in a town filled with Malformed, once you enter you cannot leave. We are stuck here. Please bring musical instruments and see if Trinity wants to come along too.
>You wait about ten minutes with that feeling you have when you just texted a hot girl and wondering if shes gonna text you back, only, multiply that intensity by about 100.
>The book shakes.
>Ok, I will bring what you requested, would you also like more bullets and holy water?
>Those things are nice, but time is of the essence, we need you here like, immediately.
>Understood, should I bring the Militia women too?
>Absolutely not. Although if William feels like taking a trip down here, no, actually, just tell him it's an order.
>Understood.

>You decide to walk around the demon town.
>They'll probably show up, in, like, a day or so..
>It's absolutely not safe anywhere in this town, go figure.
>The houses have demons, the streets have demons, the church has demons, its fucking demonpalooza everywhere.

What will you do?
>>
>>25631831
Well, if nothing else, we have back-up for the Sirens if we somehow deal with this sooner rather than later, I guess? I mean, not sure what else we can really do besides look around, and see if we can find something useful.

God damn do I always feel like there's something obvious I'm missing, though.

I didn't intend to write this badly. I know I could have described the scene better, and I meant to.. Forgive my lack of finesse here.
I really liked the idea of defeating them with instruments, and I kinda tried to make it fun
The way it was written, well, part of it was just supposed to be funny, like how Anon would probably react to seeing all this stuff happen.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm bad at this..
Anyhow, I think I need to get some sleep, if you want more, just keep it bumped, if you don't just let it die.

Anyway though, before I head to bed too, might as well leave my suggestion, right?

Best thing to do is to do some damage control, make sure there's absolutely no dark influence left. Inform the people of what happened here, and see if our pal Amnesty is fine and dandy as well.

(And then make a movie about sunset trying to figure out how magic works in this world, amiright?)
>>

That was.. terrible. Please don't do that ever again. Take a day off if you need an inspiration, I cringed 6 times reading that last part.

>>25632787
We need to really Ham it up, by saying that the people are saved by us, His Servants, or something.

We have to lay out guidelines that we wish for them to follow as well.

It appears that if we 'show no fear', then we are mostly unattractive to the demons. I wonder if Faith, or other positive emotions, can make our weapons more effective.

Also I have a headache due to caffeine overdose.

Yes, I am the same anon as before.
>>
Damage control seems like the way to go. As for Amnesty and the refugees in Salem, maybe we could invite them to Anonsburg if they decide not to go back to Silenceville.
Since we have "rainbow power"(?) are we inmune to the siren's magic?

"Oh, good, so I guess it was just a premonition of things to come.."
>Amnesty pipes up,
>"Is 'die' some kind of code?"
"Ok, what?"
>"What are you talking about Amnesty?"
"When you were writing in that book, that word kept popping up."
>You give Amnesty a confused look before opening the book.
>You peer over the pages.
>Everything you wrote was exactly how you remember it but..
>Every one of Patience's responses, is just replaced with the word 'die'.
"B-but how.."
>Sunset looks over the book in shock.
>"Anon what is this, I thought you said Patience was coming!"
"I, thought she was?"
>Amnesty speaks,
>"You've been pretty delirious ever since you left the church, perhaps now is a good time for you to rest."
"We can't rest! We, we have to get out! We have to get out!"
>Sunset sprays you down with holy water.
>"Get a grip, we're stuck here ok? Lets just, keep looking around, maybe if we keep looking, we'll find a way out of this."

What do?

>All this trouble seemed to start with the ringing of the bell.
>For a town so quiet the only sound to sing, a bell to ring.
"Sunset, I have an Idea on how we can defeat the priest."
>"Are you sure it will work?"
"This town is called Silenceville, I'm sure the church is the reason only the gypsies ever played music here. So if it started at the church, it should end at the church."
>"I thought you were more of the literal type."
"Well, maybe I'd like to believe in more than just whats in front of me. If hell can exist then heaven should as well, and as your name does bring to mind, these people, deserve Amnesty."

>Amnesty watches as you and Sunset approach the church.
>As you approach, and the Priest plays the organ music.
>A master conductor he orchestrates his malevolent ensemble to attack.
>You fly to the top of the church where the bell is kept.
>You pour salt gathered from a kitchen for purity.
>Then you hose down the bell with holy water.
>Sunset below holds a standard hymnal as she stands before a great multitude of Malformed.
>She has filled herself with holy water, throat still wet with it.
>She sings from the hymnal, as you ring the bell.

>Her voice so pure, the echos of the bell as it shakes you.
>These sweet holy vibrations ring throughout.
>Demons are stopped.
>Sunset walks forth with the grace and purity of a saint.
>As she approaches, her voice and bells vibrations dispels their presence.
>Wings of hers sprout forth from her back.
>Her clothes change as well.
>You ring the bell, in awe of the grace of her form.
>"Impossible, no being can stand against the demons!"
>Sunset continues her chanting, the sacred holy verses echo their tune throughout the church.
>In desperation the priest slams his hands against the organ.
>You can see the vibrations clashing against each other.
(cont)
>>
>>25641338
>The stained glass windows shatter
>Their pieces fall to the ground.
>This symphony clashes harshly like the glass.
>The demons can not approach further, a ring of them surround her like hungry lions.
>Sunset reaches a point where shes hitting the barrier around the priest.
>He frantically plays, but is no match for her holy resonance.
>It shatters.
>And his hold on the beasts seems to be lost as the Malformed disperse.
>He gets on his knees.
>"P-please, have mercy!"
>Sunset slowly grabs his hand.
>She licks the hand marked with '666'.
>The holy water in her mouth heals it.
>"I told you to have mercy! This is not mercy! To give me death would have been far greater a mercy than to let me live with these crimes!"
>"I know it won't be easy, but if you believe in God you must believe in forgiveness as well."
>"But, I made a deal, with Lucifer! I cannot be saved!"
>"Who do you believe has more power, God or the devil?"
>"W-well-"
>"There may be those who will never forgive you, but others who will, if you devote yourself to repenting for what you've done, I know there are people who will give you a second chance."
>"Lies! Who would give me another chance after what I've done?"
>"Well, for starters, me."
>He looks up into her eyes.
>"Will you take my hoof, and embrace the magic of friendship?"
>With trembling and tears in his eyes, he reaches out his hand taking her hoof.
>And in this moment everything fades to white.
>The sun rises clearing away the night, as the day breaks over the town.
>People emerge from their homes, as you, Sunset, and Amnesty stand in the middle of town.
>The broken appearance has gone.
>And the original state of purity in the town is restored.

What is it, that you will do?
>>

Lord have mercy, she did it!
As we previously planned, we have to do some damage control, inform the people of what happened, take the refugees to Anonsburg if they don't have were to go.
Check if Amnesty has a family to come back to, or "adopt her" if she is fine with it.
Try to contact Patience and William.

>"Praise the angel!"
>All of them rush out bowing before you both.
>Its amazing how grateful people who were damned to an eternity of torture can be.
"Now, uh, the Angel requires uh.. Ah yes, this small girl here."
>"Isn't that Faiths daughter?"
"Wait, you have a mom?"
>"Sunset saw her, she was the first one she saw in the basement being tortured."
>Absolutely no hint of caring whatsoever in her voice.
>You get the feeling their relationship isn't, good.

I'm not that good with American history, but some points of reference might help.
In any case, we should inform Patience of this and see if she can chase that demon before it escapes to Britain. Also, inquire further about the sirens.

I can see it now
The union has been devestated by a merciless 2 pronged attack
The south is able to successfully keep their territory, funded by the british.
one of the key factors in them losing was lack of industry and manpower
And they even successfully push north. Things are looking grim on the northeastern front.
Just then
Anon rides in with the calvary on a primitively built tank, daylight shimmer riding atop and anon posing with his sword as swarms of controlled malformed and men and women with advanced weapons meet british ground troops from a safer distance than they could shoot accurately from with their muskets
Specially trained blessed footsoldiers break through and break up malformed supporting british troops
Patience sets a british flagship ablaze, inspiring artists for generations to come
The british are beaten so badly they simply completely abandon the war, allowing them to focus on thenow properly armed south.
Anon shakes lincolns hand
The fact that the "salvation army" was mostly women drives home the fact that the vagina people can do war just as well as men do
The south is literally kicked to fucking shit so hard that the confederate flag is considered a symbol of universal defeat
Slavery is BTFO
one night, anon sleeps with sunny, pleased with his victory, and finds himself seated before lucifer casually with some tea. Lucifer laughs, and commends anon for fulfilling his purpose. All along he wanted to crush the skewed morals of christianity itself as a vain act of defiance to god. For instance, it was gods will that women be inferior, and those of a melanin enriched pursuasion be kept as slaves. Lucy just wanted to turn that topsyturvy on its head, and used anon and sunny to do this. He now offers to grant anon a wish, a reward for being a good little puppet. But what will he choose?

The American Civil War, the only way for the South to have won is for the North to have let them, or if they had heavy support.

The South was counting on support from Britain because of the cotton, but Britain had already found another source that didn't involve going into war over.

>>25643661
>>25643009
>Slavery is BTFO
Fun Fact: The Emancipation Proclamation was aimed at only slaves in the South. So slaves in the North were not free. Lincoln is not the Slave Freer as everyone thinks he is. In fact, he is kind of an asshole to black people.

I suggest that we should probably use our time here wisely and make some plans.

We have to kill the priest, but problem: He is on the other side of the ocean.

We should probably try and rally as many towns we can together.

I think what the priest would try to do (if this is pre-revolutionary era) is by making the British court hear the grievances of the colonists and letting them far fairer treatment, which will completely take the winds out of the sails that is the American Revolution.

>>25651300
Follow the White Rabbit
>>
>>25644095

OP, be honest, how old are you? Or, if saying so would get you banned, how old are you *definitely not*?
>>
>>25651355
I agree on rallying as many towns as we can, but the sirens are still an issue. Although I guess in this period going to Britain and then coming back may take a while so we may be good on time.
If things escalate, we may have to face both sides of the Civil War, so we should prepare our women, and men, for battle.
>>
>>25651473
That is the broad objective, we need to create a unified front.

In addition, I highly doubt that it will be the civil war, considering that was the war that started to field mass amounts of rifles.

Also, since we were stuck here for at least a month, do we know what the date is, specifically the year?
>>
>>25651499
Let's hope Constancy can answer how much time we have.
So, we should try to prevent the war or prepare for the war?
>>
>>25651499
OP never gave us a date, or exact year, I believe. Biggest issue I see currently though, is that, we have almost no real means of fast travel to catch anyone, especially if they go over seas.

I'm just thinking that this could really bite us in the ass here.
>>
>>25651530
We have to prepare for both.

Worse case scenario: We delay the war so that we can better prepare for it.
>>25651537
We have to tech up and diplomacy everyone ASAP.

This also means we have to increase our population, which will unfortunately take a lot of time, which we don't have.

Also, if we can mass produced rifles alongside conical bullets, we would have a serious advantage in open warfare, as our people would be able to lay down accurate shots while not having to sacrifice rate of fire.

In fact, if we can develop some sort of breech loaded system (with the technology we have, it would most likely be a single shot, break-open type of gun), then even the RoF would go up drastically.

Of course, the problem is that WE DON'T HAVE THE INDUSTRY FOR IT.

We need to use the malformed that Trinity is using to make up for the lack of industry. Put them into workshops or something just so we can mass produce stuff.
>>
>>25651596
This could definitely work. One thing I was thinking too, was getting some of the near-by towns to maybe help out. See if they believe our story, and if they're willing to assist us at all. The faster we can produce items and such, the better.
>>
>>25651652
If Sunset stays in her humanoid Daylight Shimmer form, convincing others would be relatively easy.

Snapping back to reality here, I honestly didn't have a specific date in mind. Something like around 1735, but uh, we can totally time-shift that like 1790 to mid 1800s right? I-i mean, theres n-not much of a difference right?

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, A BIG MASSIVE DIFFERENCE OH GOD WE ARE GOING TO DIE.

Just FYI, but that is a difference of an entire century. That should be around the time of the Industrial Revolution, so the fact that we are just controlling small villages that are pre-revolution in tech means that we have a massive workload cut out for us.

This is the time period where society is finalizing the changes from Agriculture-based to Industry.

Where high quality steel is being mass produced and precise machining has become cheap enough that trains and other machinery has become standard.

If this is the case, we need to tech up ASAP just to stay relevant. Locate the nearest river and build a mill, whether it is a lumber mill or a cotton mill I don't care, just do it.

We will have to exploit every advantage, chop down the forests and mine the ground for raw materials, either for self use or for selling. Use the malformed for the dangerous task of mining.

If patents are a thing, 'invent' the mining lantern, which is basically a regular lantern but with a metal mesh surrounding the flame.

All in all, we are going to be living in interesting times.
>>25651723
We kill them.
>>
>>25651905
Maybe we can compensate our lack of industrial strenght with magic?
We shouldn't kill the sirens. It kind of goes against Sunset's friendship code.
Maybe we can divide and conquer? You know, going after their weakest link.
>>
>>25651999
There is only so much individual magic can do, unless you are talking about industrializing magic.

We definitely probably have to kill the Sirens. They are too big of a threat, we have no way of containing them, and they have no identifiable weak points.

Not to mention, their entire existence is designed to cause mayhem and disorder, so reforming them is highly unlikely.
>>
>>25652058

Maybe we should consult it with Sunset. She is the one who dealt with them in the first place.

I feel like it should take days to come up with something, but I've come up with it in mere hours.

I've soaked it in, just, some of these feelings I hope to properly convey in the writing.

Though, in the end, everyone experiences things differently. True understanding, sometimes things get lost in translation.

But base feelings, maybe some things don't. I used to get read stories, back in elementary, there was this story our teacher read us, it was describing this field, in the rain, and I feel like me, and the other kids, were imagining the field in the rain the exact same way, based on how another kid described the field he'd just been told about.

I've taken notes about how the story should progress. It won't be tonight, but, when I wake up, I'll try and devote my time to writing something, and describing these situations in the story, as well as I can.

Goodnight friends, stay safe.

>You realize you may need to rally Patience and the others, the problem being is that the priest is probably on the other side of the ocean right now.
>Perhaps you should try to rally the towns together.
>But, it won't be easy.
>Getting these people to work together..
>Maybe these guys are the exception, having already seen, and been...
>Well tortured by hells creations.
>Physically everyone here seems ok, but, they have this look in their eyes.
>Like they're there in one moment, but, then they'll just look off into nothing with this thousand yard stare.
>Something about it all, makes you, a bit squeamish, almost physically uncomfortable.
>"Anon?"
"Heh, I'm alright, we uh, aught to help these people out."
>All the food they had stored in their houses is gone.
>In the demon realm apparently eating is not a requirement for life.
>After all, if you died by starvation, how would the demons torture you?
>Just thinking that, it leaves a bad taste in you..
>You decide to go with a group of men on a hunting party for food.
"Hey Sunset, I can trust you to keep the women occupied right?"
>"Sure, hey, I've got an idea."
"Eh?"
>"Well, I was just thinking, I think the women need something to do, something they can positively dedicate their time to, what if we train them, to do trades, and well, other stuff, they can even play music too, and, then maybe we could give the town a new name that isn't so.."
"Somber? Yeah, I think it's time we make some noise here, both figuratively and literally."
>You hold out your fist,
>She gives you a friendly hoof bump.
>The light shines in the cold morning.

>"Alright men, time to go hunting."
You order them to go get their guns and meet you back outside.
>Ehs and ohs from them, they seem apprehensive about it.
"Come on, we gotta get back into the swing of things, you all want to provide for yourselves and your families right? Just think of how much the women will appreciate you bringing in fresh meat?"
>They still seem apprehensive, but comply going inside and getting their guns.

>You're walking out into the woods.
>Its honestly just a hunch.
>Surely some wildlife lives in the woods.
>Surely this town and it's surrounding area being completely taken to hell had no effect on the wildlife-
>Oh god.
>What if you find horrifically altered animal demons?!
>Fuck fuck fuck..
>No, no gotta stay calm.
>Its these mens first time out in a while.
>You're leading them, if you fuck up now, mentally, they might never recover.
"Alright, who's ready to bring back some fresh meat eh? I know for one I am starving."
>A curious look develops on their faces.
>"Hey, yeah, I am actually hungry."
>"Hey me too, for the first time in, well forever!"
>All of them laugh.
>You can tell they all really need something like this.
>You see something dart through the trees.
>Looks like a rabbit.

(cont)
>>
>>25671038
>You come back through the woods.
>6 rabbits, and 2 deer.
>You've also got berries, mushrooms and other edibles.
>All their gardens are dead, so, they'll have to get those started back up, and keep coming back out here every day.
>But the men seem happy and joyous in their catches.
>There are 18 men, you counted.
>I suppose 19 if you'd had the sense to bring Constancy.
>Although, he'd have probably ruined this time.
>Also he's old so surely he'd be terrible at this.
>Hopefully he isn't causing too much trouble for Sunset.
>And by hopefully, you definitely mean for his sake, because while Sunset may be forgiving, that bastard deserves a least a good whooping or two after the shit he did.
>Selling his soul like a dammed coward..
>What a slimeball.
>Bah, can't look all upset, these men, they're watching you.
>You force a smile as you emerge from the woods and get into town.

(cont)

>>25671051
>The men come back.
>The women go to them, they're happy, laughing and smiling kissing their husbands.
>Its going to be tough to rebuild this village to however it was before.
>But, they've got this look in their eyes now as dusk sets over the town.
>A bit of hope shining though them.
>You get the sense that, everything will be ok.
>Though, it may be a good idea to get other towns involved.
"Hey Sunset, what if we bring those refugees out of Salem and back here?"
>"Thats a good idea, some of them probably owned houses here, surely they'll be happy to see they're all still in one piece."
"Or at least the houses are an incentive to return.."
>"Oh yeah Anon, we should ask about the stuff."
"Oh right, that Anti brainwashing stuff, yo Constancy, do you know where this bottle here comes from?"
>He walks over and sighs.
>"Oh my, follow me.."
"Oh so you do know."
>"I confiscated them, and some other things from the townsfolk.."
"I'm honestly not surprised."
>"Forgive me Anonymous."
"Eeeeehhhh, gimmie the stuff first, then we'll talk."
>He gives a courteous bow before leading you to the church.

>He shows you where he stashed away all the gypsy paraphernalia.
>There are pentacles, tomes, and about 6 bottles of that anti brainwashing stuff.
>You tow it out in a large bag.
>You show it all to Sunset.
>"This looks like stuff Trinity would be interested in."
"My thoughts exactly."
>You say your final piece with the villagers, a bit of a rushed goodbye.
>But at least they aren't rushing after you like lost children.
>With friendly waves they see you off as you make your way back to town with a bag full of goodies.

>Its getting to be night.
>You're happy you ate rabbit stew with Sunset and a few of the men before you left.
>You're off toward Salem, down a path you only vaguely remember walking down.
>"That worked out well, I'm glad we were able to help those people out."
"So, how'd it go with the women?"
>She has a bit of a disheartened look.
>"Not well, they seem to think they should just leave everything to their husbands. What kind of attitude is that?"
"Well, Rome wasn't built in a day, lets just give it some time, maybe we'll come back, and, bring some of our women, really show em that women can do stuff too."
>Shes smiling at you.
>"Hey Anon?"
"Uh, yeah?"
>"I'm,-"
>She leans up against you as you both walk.
>"Really happy you're back."
"Yeah, it's, good to be back."

>Before you get into town she becomes human again.
>Its quiet and dark as you make your way to the Inn.
>Luckily Sunset has some money she's held onto or you wouldn't even be able to spend the night.
>You did give away all your money to the church after all.
>You and Sunset get into Inn.
>You speak with the receptionist and pay the exorbitant amount.
>You make your way to your room.
>Your body feels sore like a truck ran over it.
>You set your stuff down and plop on the bed.
>Sunset joins you.
"Augh.. What a paaaain..."
>"We're doing real good here though.."
"This is totally exhausting though."
>She leans herself over pressing her lips into yours.
>You run your hand against her soft face.
>Your lips pressing against hers feeling her little though slip through.
>You run your hand through her bangs.
>She swings her leg over straddling you.
>She grabs you by your shirt scruff.
>She pecks you on the lips, pulls up, pecks you again, and repeats.
>Her hair coming down messily over her shoulders.
"I love you Sunset."
>She runs her hands through your hair.
>Fingers along your scalp with a lusty look in her eyes.
>"I love you too.. I missed you so much Anon, even though I was right next to you the whole time, ever since you walked out of the church, I felt that I had lost you. Like I was standing next to a total stranger."
"Sounds accurate, because I can barely remember anything that happened. I think, I remember some of the fighting bits, vaguely.."
>"You're right, that seemed like when you were most like yourself too."
"We gotta stop the sirens in this town."
>"I know.."

>"Anon?"
"I, I'm sorry, Sunset."
>It seems your were squeezing her a bit to hard.
>"No, Its alright, are you, thinking about something?"
"How can this be ok? How can people endure this suffering, how are people so hateful? It's not just the Malformed, they're just instigators of a problem that was already there."
>"I don't know Anon, all we can do, is just to do what we can."
"To what end? To save these people from inevitability? What happens when we're gone? As the years go by?"

>You're nestled in her warmth.
"As, long as you're here."
>"I will. I know I already said it, but, it was really hard without you by my side. There was a point where I couldn't take it either. All the pain these people felt, sometimes you just need someone to help you share that burden.."
"I'm glad I've found someone so likeminded, and, someone so kind to lead me in the right path."
>"I'm glad I found you too Anon. Sometimes I feel like you're seeing things through a broader lens you know? Like heavenly inspiration or something."
"It's, just my intuition, I'm not that bright really."
>"But you're strong, and you're kind, I can tell that you really do care about these people. And even if we can't save all of them, we've already made so many peoples lives better."
>Interlocked next to Sunset, you feel her warmth.
"Thanks.. *yawn* Goodnight Sunset."

We need to get the potions to patience
>>
>>25674880
I don't remember if this was mentioned or not, but do we know if Patience is actually on her way, or what? Because if not, than we'll have to re-contact her so she can actually help.

>>25674685
I think it might be best to see if anything has changed in Salem since we left. As in, is the situation worse, or still pretty much the same as it was. And find the Refugees if we can. Let them know that their original town is safe again.
>>
>>25675011
We also need to figure out where the Sirens stay.

I have a feeling that they are misappropriating church funds.
>>
>>25675011
>>25675650
"Alright, so we should probably get these potions to Patience."
>"Why? I mean I understand why we need to get the other stuff to her, and, honestly while we're here shouldn't we be dealing with the sirens first?"
"Well, we need to find a way to get the town on our side right? Unless you like your skin extra crispy being burned at the stake for witchcraft."
>"Well, it did seem to take the whole bottle just to bring you back."
"See exactly. Now I've got the sense Trinity is pretty used to poisoning the ol' water supply, a part of me just wants to designate the task to her."
>"But wait, the book, did you actually connect with Patience-"
"Oh shit thats right.."
>You open it up.
"Uh, what should I say, just, 'come to Salem?"
>"I guess, we can just explain everything when she gets here."
"Gotcha."
>Dear Patience, come to Salem, we need your help, we'll explain everything when you get here.
>Perfect.
"I guess we should try and find out where the Sirens are staying."

>"They own a 2 story house right by the church."
"Damn.."
>"Well, they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves."
"I bet they didn't even have to cleanse the house for demons either."
>"I get the feeling they didn't acquire it through legitimate means."

Welp, what do?

>>25676137
So I've been reading the pastebin and I want to know if you actually are a Christian/Catholic or if all the religious refrences were just for historical accuracy and entertainment or both
>>
>>25676247
Yes, I am a christian. It was for historical accuracy and entertainment.

Also I used to go to church all the time, so it's nice to actually get some use out of all that bible knowledge floating around in there.

Praise Jesus
>>
>>25676137
Just waiting for the plot twist where Patience actually did just write "DIE DIE DIE." ALWAYS KNEW SHE HAD IT IN FOR US!

But no, seriously, it could be a good idea to go take a look at their house from the outside, see what they got going on there. We still have no idea if they have pendants, or if that's just implied, and a lot of others things about them in this world. We also don't know too much about Salem, either. Like, why the people don't seem to suffer from the same affect Anon suffered from. More information might be helpful if you can make it work.

"Thank you pastor, say, you wouldn't happen to know where the girls in this house would be would you?"
"Oh, well I saw them head down to the river to pray this morning."
"Heh, alright then, we'll uh, go down and pray with them, right Sunset?"
>"O-oh yes, gotta love that prayer time.."
>"Ooh, you must be Anonymouses wife, may I ask your name?"
>"I'm Sunset, w-we're not married-"
>You nudge her.
>The priest gives you a skeptical look.
"She means to say, we're not married YET. I-its not like we've been indulging in any pre-marital relations, nope! We uh, thats one of the reasons we came down here, was just to, find a good pastor who can marry us."
>"Well, I admire your dedication, if you feel you're ready to make the commitment, I can always have the church arrange something, your contributions are more than sufficient for a service."
"Thank you pastor, we'll consider it, right sweetums?"

>"Sunset you really need to be careful."
>"What, I don't get it.. Why do we need to be married?"
"Sex before marriage is considered taboo, and if we want to win the people over, we can't have people thinking you're a harlot."
>"Hey wait, you think I'm a harlot?"
"Uh, now wait just a minute t-thats not what I meant at all!"
>"Uh-huh, sure. I guess I wouldn't want to be too slutty in front of all your church friends."
>She walks ahead of you huffily.
"C-come on Sunset, it's not like that!"
>"Whatever."
>You try fast walking catching up with her
"Sunset please, you're not mad are you?"
>"Hmph."
>Augh.. Great you're in the doghouse now.

>You feel like your eyes are about to pop out of your head glancing upon their buxom bodies.

>"Whos acting ungodly now? I thought you weren't supposed to look at another woman with lust in your eyes, isn't that adultery mister godly man?"
"I-i"
"A-all men fall short of the glory of god?"

>"Come on, lets be civil, we can talk about this!"
"I don't negotiate with terrorists, or sirens in this case."
>Sunset is pulling on your arms.
>"Anon what is with you!? Have you completely lost your mind?"
"Brainwashing an entire town, forcing them to do your bidding, you're scum."
>The twintailed one thumbs her nails.
>"Technically, we just exploited a situation that was already there."
>The poofy haired one speaks next.
>"Shes right, we're not out to kill people, we need them for our nourishment after all."
"What the hell, what do you mean!?"
>You say shoving the barrel of the gun against her forehead harder.
>"I mean, we thrive off the negative energy given out by these people."
>"Duh, it like totally gives us our strength?"
"Bullshit, you're working for the Malformed."
>Another flat look from the poofy haired one.
>"You mean Nathaniel?"
>"Is he talking about that old priest guy?"
>"He was clearly a demon Aria! Now as I was saying, he simply directed us to this town, telling us we could have our way with it."
>"He seemed really excited when we told him about us immigrating from England for some reason."
>"It was almost like he got some kind of crazy idea in his head about it."

What will you do?

Eliminated our chances? We havent even shot them yet. We blew trinitys bloody hand off and all that did was put her into a very repentant mood.
>>
Try pressing them for more info?
>>

This is suspicious. Check our surroundings for any ambushes (while keeping an eye on the sirens but I don't feel that I have to mention that)

Honestly, we need to figure out a way to make everyone in the town drink the potions.

Also, who is the idiot who thought we should sneak closer to them?

Now we lost the fuck in element of surprise.

>Time to press them for more info.
>But this is suspicious, where is their trump card in case they were caught off guard?
>You sheath one of your guns.
>Keeping your gun on her, you grab the curly haired one,
>Locking her neck under your arm.
"Anyone moves I blow this bitches head off!"
>"Anon what the hell?!"
"Sunset look around the area, look hard!"
>"What?"
"Do you honestly think they were just bathing here without any protection? Remember, if we're caught here, they'll make the townspeople burn us at the stake, we lost the element of surprise, but, we'll make do."
>The other sirens seem upset.
"Don't look at me like that, you started this war."
>"Ungh, you idiot, we didn't bring anyone with us, we're just bathing in the river!"
>You stare intensely into her eyes.
>You sneer.
"A likely story, trying to catch us off guard, you're scum, I aught to just shoot you right now."
>You say tightening your grip on her neck as you press the gun further into her temple.
>Sunset looking around the forest on the edges of the river.
>Minutes go by.
>"Theres no one around!"
"Fuck.."
>What could they be planning?
>Maybe you should just end it, theres no chance they can be your allies now..
>So, since you're all alone, maybe its best to just..
>Kill all of them.
>Then the town will be saved..
>Sacrifice a few lives to save most of them.
>The ends here justify the means.
>They've already manipulated people.
>Ending their lives would be a mercy.

What will you do?

I don't know, something about this whole thing just seems so, weird. I don't think any of us, but like, one person wanted them dead, and now Anon's gone off the fucking rails.

We still can't really kill any of them though, as they hold information that is still very valuable to us. Killing them would do us way more harm currently. But now it's too late to just let them go without them getting the town to rape us into next Sunday.

>You can't kill them yet though, as they still hold information that's valuable to you.
>But of course, if they won't talk, you'll have to use some enhanced interrogation techniques.
>Yeah, killing them would do way more harm than it'd do good.
"Alright, we're taking them back to our town."
>"What?"
"Sunset silence them, use a spell or something."
>"I, I don't know any spell like that."
"We'll just have to bind their mouths."
>"Anon have you lost your mind?! Why are you acting this way?"
"Caution is the order of the day here, we let them go free, and we'll definitely live to regret it."
>"Nngh! Just let me go!"
>"Anon please stop! Just let them go! They haven't done anything to warrant this!"
"Brainwashing the town, working with the Malformed, I'd say that sounds like reason enough to me."
"You're usually so much more diplomatic than this!"
>"They brain raped me and left you on your own! You tried everything to save me, any one of these people could have ended up just as bad or worse."
>Sunset has a sad expression.
"Just.. Calm down ok?"
>You're holding this nude girl in your arms.
>Shes a siren, even if she just looks like an innocent girl, thats no reason to go easy on her, right?

What should you do?

Honestly, OP, how about you take the reigns on this one? Because the last time we were getting greens from one post, and everyone was struggling to make a response, we ended up with the "Band" incident.

Currently, our situation is that, Sunset's angry at us and flipping out over our actions, we're holding a dazzling at gun point, and every time we've suggested to get information, it's led to Anon being a fuck head.

I'm sure you have an idea here, so why not just go ahead and share it with us, so we're not leading this story into disaster.
>>

Oh boy. Things are going south really quick.
>>
Jesus christ, how the fuck does Anon keep making things worse.

All I want is for him to be vigilant, not act like some sort of 40k SoB minus the flamethrowers.

>>25688228
I agree. I have a feeling that we are all talking past each other.

Not to mention that we have yet to use the potions on the villagers.

By the holy emperor, it is like Anon is channeling Khorne here.
