There isn't really anyone else making requests here is the thing. I'm sure you've noticed, but the threads aren't as active as they've once been. With less people around, it's the regulars that you see, and the satyr requester just happens to be a regular. Personally I don't mind the guy at all, it at least keeps the thread bumped.
And if you really feel as a drawfag that you want to do a request, but don't want to do certain things, do not hesitate to ask and give examples of what you like and dislike to draw for requesters to throw ideas your way. There's no rule that says drawfags can't ask for requests that will be their cup of tea.
We are the Draw thread and always will be no matter what people come and request. The drawthread is the central hub for all of /mlp/'s draw needs, people just seem to forget that.
I actually wouldn't mind more generals come here to make requests, but it's all people trying to police requests that's discouraging that from happening. See this as a place where people who only draw and don't care enough to sift through the rest of a generals for draw requests to gain ideas. Maybe they'll find something they end up liking by seeing a request made on here.

Try constructing the head. You've made the eye too close to the muzzle. Scoot it back and make the forehead of the head taller.

Since you're messing around with shading and coloring, try removing the contours on their necks and let the colors speak for itself.
Celestia's Jaw goes out too far and looks as if the back of her skull is very flat. Her ear is also pretty wonky, could be the shading. Try shading the inside of the ear.
Pinkie's nose goes to the side too much. It makes it as if she lacks a cheek. Could also be the whole construction of her head. Be sure to flex that cheek on the right so it hugs her skull slightly.

I've thought about that. I'll experiment some time with it. I told myself I wasn't going to experiment with color until 2016 but I guess it's not a big deal with starting early.
