I read a manga like that once
I've honestly become more partial to the WAAAAAAAH, which to me is a far more convincing response to the upper levels of pain like amputation, which honestly shouldn't even have any full diction. People go absolutely fucking insane when they lose limbs, and any reasonable headcanon will maintain that ponies experience at least as much sensitivity as humans.
A scree is a constricted noise, a little more complicated and good for things like mild to medium testicular trauma. Anything more ought to cause a good, full throated howl of agony, with the more extreme stuff increasing the stress, intensity, duration and finally the pitch. Although that's all complimentary to what should be good sense and detail regarding pain response.
The weeping is a nice touch, but like scree it's not really possible to stress as hard, and I find it's only suitable for when the pain WAS mindbreaking, but has delved into the realm of tolerable.
Duration's also a biggy. Stuff like amputation doesn't become tolerable in the timespan of minutes. Mutilated humans will be begging the pain to go away for hours, and even properly treated stumps without anesthetic can hurt enough to cause crying or screaming in adults for weeks after. A weak creature like a pegasus pony should incredibly good mileage out of an amputation that I think ought to be milked for more than it is these days.
That's a lot of time to emit all sorts of types of scream, and WAAAAAAAAAAAH should be among them.
