"My loyal subjects," Britannia purred, the lustful curve of each letter clinging to her speech as she addressed the crowd before her.

>She waved her hoof high above her head, pointing to the sun high above, the unusually clear sky for the time of year.

"We are independent! We have won! The European Union will remember this day as our victory, not theirs!"

>A roar of approval and cheers sprung from the crowd, a smug grin crossing her face as she puffed out her chest, drool staining the side of her mouth as she looked to her side.

"And to remind those peasants of our power, the British empire..."

>Britannia wrapped her hoof around the blonde-maned mare who walked slowly out onto the balcony, dawned in her military attire, beautiful red, black, and gold contrasting the vibrant red, blue and white.

"I want this day to be memorable for all the right reasons!"

>Britannia purred as she cupped Aryanne's face in her hooves, crystal blue eyes staring into stunning sapphires.

"Cheers, love~"

>Britannia roughly pressed her lips to Aryanne's, forcing her against the balcony, giving the crowd below a perfect view up both uniforms, another wave of applause and cheers erupting from below.

>This was a memorable day, a proud day for them all.

>>
>>27715446
If countries were represented by pones, Aryanne would be long-dead. She'd be replaced by some abomination designed by tumblr to represent multiculturalism in Germany.
Amber would be obese and retarded, with an afro.
Maple would be the same as Aryanne, multiculturalism but slightly dumber.
Britannia would be still alive, but heavily brainwashed.
Veronika would be dead, Russiapony would be poor, crude, drunk, but supportive of capitalism.
Only Poland would be good.
Polska pony would stomp on the heads of refugees and into space

We totally know the issues, the MSM wants us and you all to think it will be catastrophic.
We can vote, while other EU counties would love to, but they can't.
I'm thinking of France, heading to a civil war.
We need to leave the EU, we're on a turn, that if we don't, they will fuck us up much harder than ever. Let's fix what the previous generation did for us thinking it would be a bright future, not seeing the big picture.

Did you know my favorite kind of porn is non-sexual relationship writings and romance
I'm so socially rejected that the thought of someone actually loving me is little more than wishful thinking.
Not a day goes by where I don't think about blowing my brains out.
Sometimes I think, if I put a gun to my ear and fired, would I hear the blast? Would my ear temporarily explode with sound before I died?
Would one bullet even kill me?

Whenever I try to imagine myself in a relationship, I can never put a face to my partner, they're more of a presence than a form. I can't imagine what could love someone like me.
As such, I can't have a waifu for the same reason. It'd be wishful thinking for a cute pony to feel for me like that.

Those who believe in a just world are delusional, bad things happen to good people, bad things make good people bitter.

My spark went out long ago, I don't know why I trudge on.

>British Empire
>Empire
Look, we don't produce jackshit anymore. The coal mines were closed decades ago, our steel industry's basically dead, and we just import everything nowadays. Yet we still pretend like we're politically and militarily important. We really should just go back in our little cardboard box and act like we don't exist.
>>
>>27717372
(i don't know what that means)
>>
>>27715116
So...when do we get to vote out the pointless Monarchy we still pay taxes to for no practical reason?
>>
Well, from what I gather, the EU doesn't actually tell us what to do all that much. 90% of the regulations it brings through come down from the UN, a heck of a lot of which is written up by British civil servants anyway.

There's also a lot of European regulation which is superseded by our own much tighter regulations (especially in food production).

We have our own currency so we don't need to be a part of a Europe wide financial regulation (something they should have done when they thought up the Euro and avoided that enormous mess a couple years back).

I also regularly import shit from all over the globe and I'd much rather source stuff from Germany from the US because there are no massive border fees to pay.

The EU also has agreements with around 80 countries where you either don't need or at least require minimal effort for visas, all of which would have to be drawn up again, making foreign travel a pain in the ass.

Of course free movement is a pain and it can drive down wages- I work as a laboratory scientist which is a pretty damn skilled job, but over half of the staff are migrants from eastern Europe (who get free education to masters' level) and they are getting paid way more than they would home and are able to save a bit of money here which will fund an absolutely gold plated retirement back home. In perspective, I'm getting paid around 30% less than I would have expected to about twenty years ago, taking into account inflation.

honestly though, I don't think the government would change the rules on migration that much, especially when it comes to skilled workers (so I'm fucked either way) and in terms of unskilled labour, we already get more people from outside the EU coming here than from inside the EU, so if we don't tell them to go away, we certainly won't tell Europeans to either.

I supported Brexit when the campaigns started, but after a big long think I think it would be a frankly terrible idea.
>>
My hope is on you, Britons. You have to lead the first strike to show others that it is possible. You have to leave.

>28 countries with about as many languages
>One parliament
It was never going to work. The EU should be a trade federation, not a centralized government for 500 million people
>>
>>27718026

Because a bunch of nationalists have their panties in a twist about immigrants and think that if they leave the EU, they will magically stop the immigrants from going to their country and keep all the economic benefits that being in the EU brings.
>>
The lack of an EU pone makes me sad.
>>
>>27718082

It's NOT a centralized government, it's a confederation. It has no system to actually enforce the rules other than self compliance. There's no EU army to storm in and force, say, the UK to do anything. Instead they say "If you don't comply with _____, you can't sell your stuff in the EU." EVERY country has those trade rules, like "You can't sell cereal to the US, China, if it has this much lead in it."
>>
>>27718006
Bless you /pol/
>>
>>27718043

You have no clue how the EU or the Soviet Union work. Please tell me the size of the EU's army or police force. Go on. I'll wait.
>>
>>27718098
>It has no system to actually enforce
It should also be mentioned that the whole "non-trade" part of the EU is specifically designed to not work properly and be as inefficient and bureaucratic as possible.

The EU is basically just a trade block disguised as a government in order to compete with the other world powers.

In case someone doesn't follow, that's a good thing.
>>
Here's why this matters to everyone else. Say you're a company outside the EU and want to sell to the people in the EU. You're going to pay 5% in taxes and fees. Screw that. You got money to make. Fortunately, England has a 'special relationship' with the EU, and only pays 1% in taxes and fees when they sell their stuff in the rest of the EU. England says they'll only charge you 2% if you set up a branch in the UK. 3% is lower than 5% so hot diggity, you open a branch in the UK. That requires you to dump 20 billion in a bank in England, and the bank thanks you and uses that money to invest all over the world. Everyone happy.

But England leaves and that special relationship goes away. Now having that branch costs you 7%. Fuck that! Might as well sell directly to the customers in the EU. Or move that branch to Ireland, where it's 2.5% but that have that annoying accent. Or to germany, where they charge 4.5%. Not as good as before, but every bit of profit matters. So you yank that money out of the English bank, close the doors, and put it in a German bank.

Now you're not aware of it, but there's a good chance that your business is doing business with an English bank. But if that money gets shut off, there's no guarentee that it'll come back from a German bank, which lend at a MUCH higher cost than English banks (Just ask any Greek). So sorry, Timmy in America, you lost your job because of Brexit.
>>
>>27718130
::shrug:: it's a confederacy. They never work properly and are ineffiecient and disruptive as fuck. The American Confederacy, the Articles of Confederation, the League of Nations, and the UN are all examples. Its better than nothing, but it's way weaker than a centralized nation.

I study EU law.
Comparing military and police force is a fallacious argument.
The EU regulations and the nature of the guide lines, how the high court in Brussel sees itself, and how the armies of the nations are being merged, while simultaneously pushing socialist ideas as being "the right thing to do in contemporary times" are all dead give aways.

A /Pol/ish friend of mine told me, proud as he was, how his people will destroy the EU and make their own, minus the union legality.

Yeah, I get a similar feeling about Poles. Probably because they don't have very good experience with their eastern neighbours, so they want strong Europe, among other things.

EU isn't bad idea really, it's just that some mistakes were made. That and the political elites are full of arrogant federalist pricks who don't care what the people want.

IMO brexit would be beneficial by providing a precedent showing that leaving the EU is not an economic catastrophe and thus making the EU federalists less cocky.

becuase some part of your decayed sense of personal interests is waiting for you to figure out the biggest enemy of a good idea is the dream of a perfect one, and you should shut up and keep trying to find someone, not because it's easy, likely, or fair, but because It's easy to live life being miserable, and hard to live life being happy.

The reasons are mostly economic and nationalistic. There are pros and cons either way, but I'm of the mind that Europe would be better off split into cooperative but independent nation-states. This will hurt countries like Poland and Greece but would be a boon to countries like Germany and the UK, who are hamstrung not only in terms of their economic independence but also in the preservation of their national identities.

I know that not everyone is a fan of nationalism, but there are quite a few people who believe that true diversity can only exist if nations are allowed their own sovereignty instead of being forced into globalist collectives.

It's not a policy of "supremacy" or "racism" - though you'll hear many voices claiming that it is - but rather a policy of cultural pride in the context of world multiculturalism. Forced diversity and the erosion of European cultures appears to be a goal of the EU, and I'm glad that some countries are resisting this

Well no shit, ethno-nationalism caused two world wars. It is undeniably the worst.

>would be a boon to countries like Germany and the UK

Wrong, as the death of the Euro would make German manufactured goods more expensive. The PIGS may be irritating, but they also keep the euro relatively cheap internationally, allowing countries like Germany to have a healthy export market for their cars.

>historical precedent
cherrypicked precedents

ethno-nationalism is compatible with modern society provided it is not tinged by supremacy, which frankly given those historical precedents is not really a major concern anymore, despite all the people crying about "racism" and "bigotry." The fear and violence espoused by so-called Antifa and ethno-supremacist groups like the Wahabbi and BLM is far more worrying than the European ethno-nationalism that apparently you're so afraid of

>basic currency economics

you're assuming that an independent Germany would rely on the Euro instead of the Mark

not to mention that the global economy tied to economics of debt and currency speculation NEEDS to be reformed or the constant cycle of recessions - if not outright currency collapses - will continue indefinitely. I understand that countries want to compete with one another economically, but Irresponsible growth rates based on imaginary "funny money" are a serious contribution to instability worldwide and in the environment
>>
>>27723761
>ethno-nationalism...not tinged by supremacy

Do you realize how hard this is to do? Nationalism works yes, but that focuses on unity that sometimes even can sound leftist in origin ("We are ALL Americans") etc.

Slippery slope is a fallacy yes, but as shown by BLM and Wahabis like you mentioned, it's easy to go from "We're proud of our race" to "Our race is the best, others don't deserve to exist."

Economically speaking, about currency, you're absolutely right. The international collective will be worse off and as an effect so will the local communities (ex. Germany).

But growth isn't the only thing people need in their life. The culture of consumption is one both decadent and creating unhappy people - only the dumbest and least ambitious thrive within it. This cannot stand. And if for the benefit, ability and freedom of those intelligent and ambitious I could take away a little from the thoughtless and animalistic, I would not hesitate.

In the long run, globalist agenda, while economically superior, is lacking both in morals and freedom of individual - that is, unless that individual is among the richest of rich, who make sure that there will be as few new arrivals at their peak as possible. The EU is run by such people, who with the use of regulation and manipulation cause those industrious, but not wealthy to meet failure in their business for the benefit of those who already own megacorporations, to whom the regulations are nowhere close to a hindrance. Nationalist world is the only one in which an individual may truly thrive - even if the playing field is much smaller than in the global one.

And about war: People are tired of killing each other. There will not be a new war in Europe, possibly excluding small-scale civil wars, for as long as the people remember the two World Wars. With nuclear arms at hand, memory of millions perished and thousands left fatherless, Europe will not succumb to this tragedy again.

Jesus, somebody very clearly didn't go to the London School of Economics. Or any school of economics for that matter.

>it's possible to have nationalism without supremacy

Only if we're talking about nationalism a la Teddy Roosevelt's New Nationalism, which is basically designed around pride in a unique national system, rather than any kind of ethnicity. Immigrants would be welcomed with open arms, as long as they too were willing to participate in and take pride in the nation-state's unique government system.

I can agree with those feelings to an extent. I think multiculturalism is something that should be valued and respected. But multiculturalism can't exist if every culture is forced to live together regardless of their principles and beliefs. As history has shown us, cultures rise and fall, disappear and return. I would rather that we live in a world of flux and change, as opposed to a static world trapped in a singular global polity.

The world and the nature of warfare fundamentally changed after WWII. The US is the major world superpower and maintains relative peace through threat of superior firepower. With a nationalist - but non-expansionist, non-aggressive - president at the helm, the US, and by extension the world, will prosper.

In such a climate, the world could be composed of many unique cultures and countries, all cooperating, without having to operate under the shroud of a global government. The linchpin, of course, would require the US to oust its neocon, Cold War era establishment politicians and their aggressive foreign policy - policy conducted to maintain economic hegemony according to these principles of debt and floating currency values. To escape the system of destruction we must start distancing ourselves from these economic polices and the banking cartels that perpetuate them.

The fact that wealthy banksters feel they can blackmail entire countries with threats of currency devaluation tells me that something is very wrong with the system we have, and we can't be afraid to try and change it

Based Scribble
>>
>Britannia hummed gently, sitting back on the overly plush chair, decorated with generations upon generations of gemstones that seemed to glimmer in the first sun upon the new United Kingdom.

>As she dragged out the last, simply perfect note, her eyes drifted down to a small filly before her, puffing out her chest in pride, her attire simple, clean, a messenger.

>"God save the queen," the filly chirped, ears flicking as Britannia's song ended, the last note echoing through the chamber.

>Britannia chuckled, resting her hoof gently on the filly's head and tussling her mane.

"What are you doing here little one?"

>The filly giggled, backing away from the light assault of her freshly groomed mane.

>"You have a visitor!"

"Visitor? What did they look like?"

>"She had this pretty gold hair! But when I asked her about it, she said a bunch of silly sounding words, couldn't quite understand her"

"And you made sure our beloved guest was served our finest tea, yes?"

>"Of course," the filly chirped, "Wouldn't think of serving anything else!"

>Britannia grinned, bowing her head slightly, gesturing slightly with her hoof, causing the filly to nod and scamper off, each echo of her steps making her heart beat faster with anticipation.

"Do you like what I've done, Aryanne~? Have I really pulled off something so great you've come to congratulate me face to face?"

>Britannia had since changed position, laying across her throne, crown dawned, one side of it significantly lower than the other, contrasting sharply with her stunning crystal blue eyes.

>She watched in amusement, or was it excitement that pulled those shivers down her spine, as Aryanne stepped closer to her, silently.

"You're no fun anymore~ step. step. step. step. So bloody boring, really. You have to have a bit of fun, maybe wear something a little more posh if you want to look cute."

>With that, Britannia turned, sitting up proudly in her thrones, a small grin crossing her muzzle.
>>
>>27726821

"But of course, I don't mind it when you act tough, it's a bit of a turn on~"

>Aryanne stopped before her, tired, perfect blue eyes resting on the mare before her, the clash of military reserve and royal pride seemed to make the air thick, hard to breathe.

>"Zis ist your idea," Aryanne asked, not a hint of emotion behind her words, as she adjusted slightly, standing perfectly before the grinning mare.

>"You have the entire world thinking that everyzing is falling apart. And für was? To pretend you're shutting us out? How can you think declare independence when I am still around?"

"Oh, ducky. Don't be so grim, I just wanted to have a little fun, maybe catch your attention. You've been drowning yourself in work, ignoring my invites, probably burning them with some bodies you little pyro~"

>Britannia reached up and grabbed her crown, leaning forward to place in on Aryanne's head, smirking at how out of place it looked with her uniform.

"I just wanted you to come see my new kingdom~ is that too much to ask?"

>Britannia stood slowly, stepping closer to Aryanne, pressing her nose to hers.
>>
>>27726841

"Your move, love."

>Aryanne frowned, hesitating as she mulled over the possibilities, the insanity of this mare before her, the-"

"No? Mine, then."

>Britannia roughly pressed her lips to Aryanne's, forcing her to take a step back, the small drop of the steps before the throne causing her to fall back, the crown clanging loudly as it slid across the room, coming to a halt a few feet away.

>Aryanne pushed against Britannia, anger coating her face as the few strands of saliva connecting their lips broke, landing on her uniform and now, slightly messy fur.

>"Zis is not a game, Britannia! You will rejoin, you will not ruin what I have perfekted!"

>Britannia leaned in, letting out a small, loving sigh as her hooves rubbed Aryanne's sides slowly.

"How was your tea, love~?"

>Aryanne opened her mouth to shout, to tell her not to make lightly of her actions, but no sound came out. Even as Britannia got off her, trotting slowly over to the crown, she was unable to move, unable to speak.

"Not very smart of you to drink the tea without me. But you're so cute with your formalities, how could I resist?"

>She giggled slightly, placing the crown back on her head.

"Just like you right now, I couldn't."

>Britannia circled the helpless mare before her like a predator stalking its prey, eyes watching each useless twitch.

"I know love, I know. This hard floor doesn't feel too good. "

>Britannia stomped her hoof twice, two guards immediately entering the room, standing over Aryanne.

"Gents, bring her to my chambers--in tact. She's my guest not yours."
>>
>>27723628

>European power bloc
>>
>>27726847

>Britannia chuckled as Aryanne was carried away to the other room, eyes fixed on her until the very last instance. Who could resist looking at the Queen?

>As the doors shut firmly, Britannia let out a long, shaky sigh, moving through another doorway, trembling in excitement. Her facade had not cracked, the next move was entirely hers. But it had to be perfect.

>She practically danced into the baths, letting out an adoring sigh as the steam clung to her fur, as her empire clung to her for answers.

>First, her mane had to be washed, imported oils, fragrances, lush, fruity smells staining her body as she moved down to her coat, massaging every inch in warm, welcoming suds that made her skin tingle. And, to her own amusement, when leaning over the tub to grab another bottle, her marehood, which she rubbed slowly, purring as she thought of her little plan.

>A small squeak echoed through the room as she pulled her sensitive lips to the side, showing off the tight pink muscle that she was certain each of her citizens drooled over. But why have fun on her own, when she had a guest waiting for her?

>"I didn't keep you waiting, did I, love?"

>A small growl on the bed earned a small giggle from Britannia as she stepped forward, a few drops of water falling to the marble floor, leading a trail to the overly posh bed.

>Britannia hopped up, moving over Aryanne, a few drops of water falling on her uniform, darkening the fabric slightly.

"I've always loved the uniform on you--so serious, so powerful. But right now, I think it's a bit inappropriate for you, love."

>Britannia skillfully worked her hooves down the uniform, removing each clasp, undoing each button, until she finally slipped the garment off her hostage.

"Isn't that better~?"

>Britannia held the fabric up to her nose, inhaling deeply, drooling at the mixture of masculine whisky and feminine perfume.
>>
>>27726851

"I might just keep this~ it'll help with several lonely nights here. Sure I could find any subject to lay... But they'll never be as good as you."

>Aryanne frowned, watching the mare over her slip on her jacket, the sleeves nearly covering her entire hooves, the heavy garment much too big on such a thin, delicate frame.

>She let out a sharp huff as she felt two hooves move down her now exposed frame, smoothing the fur on her chest and stomach, before moving out to her hips.

"Remember when we were younger? That boring day we were both dragged as the mares who would one day show the power we held to the world?"

>Britannia leaned in close, using her hooves to spread Aryanne's legs, revealing her perfect folds.

"You told me I'd look cute in a crown..."

>She lowered her hips, slowly grinding against Aryanne's.

"You told me that colts would give me kisses left and right, and dream about me."

>Aryanne inhaled sharply as she felt Britannia's folds press to hers, the warmth and oils still present from the bath.

"And I told you how I'd be sure I'd share with you whatever I had..."

>Britannia sat back, hooves to either side of the mare beneath her, hips rocking softly, each pass, causing her to moan under her breath.

>Each twitch, every movement a spark of pleasure for the two, the sun coating perfect white coats stained with the excitement of the other.
>>
>>27726856

>Aryanne had long since given up trying to verbally protest, and now, only huffs and gasps of pleasure left her lips as she watched the mare above her explore her body.

>Soft lips pressed against her own, sucking her breath from her lungs, exciting her tongue with the tastes of fruits sweeter than she had imagine, and teas that forced her body to stay awake in a blissful state.

>Britannia panted heavily, resting for a moment, a few strands of drool landing on Aryanne's chest as their eyes met again.

>Both manes that had been primed for this meeting, coats that had been groomed to perfection, now stuck out, messy like that of a commoner, tainted with bliss and subservience to the other, in its own twisted way.

>Britannia leans forward, resting the weight of her hips on Aryanne's as she closed her eyes, burying her muzzle into the coat of the mare she adored more than she'd ever let on, inhaling the musk of their actions as she hit her climax, rocking back and forth, coating Aryanne's own slick folds in her excitement, her guilty pleasure, as she felt the mare tremble underneath her, still just a nudge shy of her own release.

"Haaah- D-don't worry, love... You're my guest, my little ducky."

>She sat up, getting tracing Aryanne's thin jawline, eyes half open as she struggled against the afterglow that plagued ever fiber of her being.

>Britannia ran her body down Aryanne's, moving down until each small exhale painted Aryanne's folds in her warm breath, earning a small wink, which she responded to with a simple kiss.

"Sweeter than I've dreamed~"

>Aryanne, with the toxins now wearing off, arched her back as Britannia's tongue dipped forward, plunging deep inside her folds, stroking and pulling at each inch of perfect muscle, which seemed to hug her tongue in a desperate attempt for more.
>>
>>27726859

>She had to admit, through each suckle and nibble, every small gulp and wave of warm breath between her legs, she couldn't help but notice how cute it was to see the royal crown bob up and down as Britannia worked between her legs, something even her own followers would never get the chance to do.

>Britannia nibbled on the sensitive flesh again, snapping Aryanne back to reality as she hit her own climax, staining Britannia's tongue in her sweet nectar, as she slumped back on the bed, panting heavily, eyes focusing on her drool darkening the silken sheets.

>She felt that familiar, sweet smelling warm body crawl over her, pressing to her back, as her body was wrapped in a welcome, warm embrace, one hoof around her chest, the other running over her teats and folds.

"Just think of that as a little present. Something only you get now that we're a bit more... Independent."

>Aryanne let out a small moan as she felt Britannia gently nibble her ear, sending a shiver down her spine as she clung onto consciousness.

>"God save zie Queen~"

Remember, today is Britain's independence day. They finally learned having assholes thousands of miles away telling you what to do while taking your guns and taxes is bullshit.

Scotland is going to leave too. In breaking from the EU they only showed that it's inevitable.

They are welcome to try. The globalists have sunk their teeth deep into the UK and aren't going to just give up without a fight. Hopefully good sense will prevail
>>
So what will happen if France and Germany do the same and the EU ends up disbanding?
>>
>>27727887
I see most of the strongest arguments for the union from UKIP types hilariously. Now there is literally no argument that can be used to keep Scotland in. Hopefully they will leave by the end of the decade.

Rebirth of the empire, huh?

If they're looking for a union to be part of, it makes a lot more sense to remain united to a country with which they share both a border and a long history than with a bunch of countries on the mainland.

But hey, if they feel that their Scottish identity is more important than their ties to Britain, then by all means seek independence. But I think their desire for separation is less about identity and more that they feel that they can get something from the EU that they can't get the UK, and frankly I have to wonder if those expectations aren't a little bit unfounded. We shall see.
>>
Join us, Britannia. Become part of America. We could become an even bigger superpower together!
>>
>>27727997
No, it's that it's a bad deal for Scotland to remain in and it's difficult to argue for "better together" when the UK itself doesn't act that way to its commitments.

>share both a border and a long history than with

A history of oppression, neglect, and being treated like dead weight. The sooner they leave the better for them.

I would be fine with them leaving desu. Scottish independence is an attractive idea. I just hope they don't fall into the EU trap, but unfortunately right now it looks like they are eager to remain part of it.

If anything Scots are the best represented Minority of the world, and Im not even from the UK.

But yeah, break free, i mean you got Oil... oh wait, that shit is onyl worth half and less then it was a year ago.
>>
>>27728052
You realize the Scottish Parliament in its modern incarnation isn't even twenty years old, right?

Being with the UK is nothing but a bad deal for the Scots.
>>
>>27728061

Yes, and?

Do you think you will get any more representation through Brussel?

Look at Greece, who are also lead by a populist superlefty party.

But hey, have fun beeing the northern Greece. And the Uk would become way more conservative too with you roleplaying Mel Gibson and not influencing their parliamentary elections anymore.

Good, let the UK become run by the UKIP. The delusions of GLORIOUS EMPIRE can still last even after they lose Scotland, and possibly Wales and Northern Ireland.
>>
>>27728158

Wales doesn't want to leave the UK. They were polled after last year's Scotland referendum and less than 5% of respondents said they favored an independent Wales.

Scotland makes up about 8% of the UK population and GDP. A sizeable chunk, but by no means a death knell for Britain.

North Ireland provides less than 2% of the GDP and roughly 3% of the population.
