For some reason, I picture rarity being more of a mother figure than fluttershy. Fluttershy seems like she'd be the one you go to when you feel like shit and want to be soothed out of depression. In that regard, she reminds me of my aunt.
Twilight: See her whenever I go to the castle to get a book (I assume it's the library now since the old one exploded), we have good discussions about storytelling.
Rarity: See her out and about town every now and then, she sometimes invites me to the shop to try on some new designs she's working with.
