11-54 is the story of a filly exploring a strange facility filled with hostile creatures and unstable architecture.
You've gone quite a ways in the last few days but as it stands, your journey is not over.
So far you were born into this facility from mysterious tubes that litter the building. You've managed to die twice, only to
be re-born from the tubes. Along the way you met a pony who is your clone, who is much older than you, and remembers the
facility before if fell into disrepair. Your older clone who you've named Spearmint told you about the mental conditioning
program that the facility used to run, which left her a bit of a psychological mess. There are various hostile artificial
organisms created by the facility that lurk the halls. You are also being hunted by the automated security who seeks to
contain the artificial organisms. Along the way you've also meet an investigative reporter by the Name of Photo Bomb who was
in a helicopter that crashed into the building. Upon meeting the reporter you choose to name yourself Peppermint. After escaping a lab housing a bio-computer's and recently exploring an aquatic biology laboratory you got your ass kicked by a telepathic creature which lost you a good portion of your inventory.

What will you do now?

Come on in to the 11-54 CYOA and help this filly and her companions escape.

Current supplies, a crowbar, a .45 sub machine (2 bullets), a scalpel, your flak jacket, ID badge for security guard Steak Styles, a .308 rifle (15 rounds), various tester chemicals, microscopes, a first-aid kit [partially used], a pen and some loose sheets of paper.

"Photo Bomb, Hold still, I'm going to try to put it back in place."
>"B-but!?"
"Hold still."
>You firmly hold PB to the wall with your telekinesis.
>After pushing her against the wall you stretch her wing out straight to line up the joint before you begin trying to push the joint back into it's socket.
>Photo Bomb grits her teeth and sequels in pain while you push.
>You finally release when you hear a wet pop, which sends PB collapsing to the floor where she simply cries and trembles.
"PB Are you okay?"
>She doesn't seem to respond.

What do you do?
>>

Don't touch her, give her a moment to collect herself and let the pain soothe.

What's Spearmint doing?
>>
>>27463948
Stop the bleeding and just pet her and tell her she should be ok now. Huggle and comfort the PB.

So I had some free time and made a shitty vector of this picture: http://desustorage.org/mlp/thread/26644890/#q26670401

http://imgur.com/a/o74P4

I did trace a lot though. Because I can't vector for shit.

Huh. I really should've put more effort into it.

I think the vagoober actually looks pretty nice, but it does look a bit, unpolished just because of the lines. Who is the butt supposed to belong to anyways? I don't recognize the colorscheme.

Look for some water or alchol or something to clean up the blood. Don't want her to risk an infection and possibly draw attention of something with her bleeding.

I actually tried to mimic Dtcx97's style here. But as I said, I can't really vector.

And that's young Peppermint. You see it if you follow the link I posted. But here is the original picture.
>>
>>27464185
The colors are pretty off if that's what you were going for. But it's a fairly solid try none the less.
>>
>>27464216
Thanks, I guess. The 'shading' ruined them a bit, and I didn't really have any official colours for her had to use the colour picker tool on her.

Carefully stop the bleeding as good as you can, say some motivating words and then go look what Spear is doing.

https://img.anonpone.com/archive/11-54/ADECcgS.png

That's an official color scheme for her.
>>

Oh, good to know. I'll prolly fix it.
>>

I tried.

Don't want to use up too many posts.
>>

Well, you did do a good job.
>>
>>27464437
Better on the colorscheme, but it looks strange not having outlines on her tail. And the shape of the tail,(while fairly superficial) doesn't feel like it matches how hers looks. Not a bad attempt either way.
>>
>>27464469
>>27464505
Yeah, as I said, I don't really know how to vector. Or draw for that matter.
Thanks

>After your work is done you stroke PB's mane with a gentle hoof trying to comfort her.
"Shh, it's okay You're going to be fine."
>You look over your shoulder to check on Spear.
"Spearmint? What are you doing right now?"
>You can see Spearmint staring at you from the island in the middle of the room, "I just got done fixing my own bandages so I was just ... watching you two... You're doing a good job... And you'll be fine Photo Bomb just don't... move it much."
>You can still feel PB shaking under your hoof but she seems to have calmed down a bit.
>Photo Bomb finally speaks up, I c-can feel my wing again."
"Are you okay enough to walk?"

"Don't worry, you're not going to die in here, we're all just too strong to die in this place. We're getting out of here. All of us."
>While you're busy petting Photo Bomb Spearmint walks over and lays down next to PB.
>Spear then nuzzles her snout under PB's chin and says, "Just take it easy for a bit. We're safe right now so just enjoy it.You'll be okay after a while."

>You're a little surprised to see Spear reaching out to PB, you should probably talk to her about it later. Although things that you wanted to talk to her about later seem to be piling up. like what she said when you wanted her to lie to Apollo, or about those weird feelings you where having about that poster, or about that dream she had. In fact you find that you've forgotten most of your mental list of things to ask Spear about, but maybe this actually tells you something about her as well. You did start off as essentially the same pony, does Spear do the same kind of thing?
"Hey, I'm going to keep looking through the cabinets here for a bit, why don't you two take it easy for a bit.
>Spearmint turns her head, "Are you sure? I can help."
"No, Somepony needs to keep PB warm and I think you're a bigger blanket."
>You hop out of the cuddle pile and begin rummaging through the cabinets more thorough than last time. During this search you find a hooded sweatshirt, a leaded apron, three pairs of safety googles a box of adult sized latex gloves and a bottle of vodka among the troves of beakers test-tubes Bunsen-burners hot plates and tongs left in the room. At least, these are the only things you find that you consider useful, since most of the paperwork is about testing for very specific compounds present in various samples.
>You're pretty sure that it's about time to leave this room, but you also need to figure out what you're going to bring with you and who is going to carry it.

we're going to carry the vodka. It will make an excellent antiseptic in the future.
We can give photo bomb the hoodie. Everyone gets to wear goggles!
Let's cover everypony's hooves. Mostly because the gloves will be useful for storage later.
>>
>>27467677
Drink a bit of the vodka, see if it's still any good.
>>
>>27467717
no drinking for the filly.
>>
>>27467716
I think a hoodie would fit PB the best in terms of it being something I can imagine her wearing. Not sure I agree about the goggles though, maybe keep em around the neck rather than wearing them. Or put em in a container or something.

>>27467725
Filly is old enough to die, she's old enough to at least have a taste. I doubt she'll like the taste much anyways.
>>
>>27467739
if you already know she's not going to like it and most likely will spit it out then it's pointless to even drink in the first place.
Everything is "old enough to die." so that's a crappy reason to anyway. We shouldn't waste a single drop of it. It might also be needed for pain relief in the future.

i suppose we can just wear them around our necks. I just thought we'd look cool.
>>
>>27467759
A sip can't hurt her, and she's strong enough to tough it out.

And Vodka isn't the best antiseptic. Too much water, depending on the proof. Unless it's at least 100 proof, it could harbor bacteria. It should be tasted to see if it's still potent.
>>
>>27467759
It's not really a reason not to either besides, tasting it will see how potent it is like >>27467795
said.
>>
So I did some reading on Alcohol as an antiseptic. We actually only need 70 proof, not 100, but Ethanol also kills body cells along with bacteria, so we should look for saline solution instead.
>>
>>27467842
That's a good point, might want to use it only if we have to then.

>You stare at the bottle for a bit, reading it over.
>You kind of want to try some, I mean you never have had alcohol before, but ou also think that it might not be the best idea. Eventually you come to the conclusion that a little taste couldn't hurt.
>You open you bottle which washes a vaporous fume over you nostrils that almost burns the hairs in you nose. It smells a lot stronger than the rubbing alcohol you've used in the past. You swish the bottle around a bit as you prepare yourself for your first taste, before bringing it up to your lips and attempting to knock back a quick swig.
>The vodka immeadiately fills your nose and mouth with the same fumes you smelled when you opened the bottle and the substance quickly begins to violently burn the back of your throat. Before you've even registered what has happened, you are bent over and coughing out as much of your little taste as your body can manage.
>A worried Spearmint calls to you, "Peppermint!? Are you okay!?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm *cough* fine. I just found some *cough* *cough* Goggles and a hoodie for *cough * PB."
>"Are you sure, you sound a little..."
"No, I'm fine see!?"
>You pop your head around the island and give Spear a little smile.
>You should probably tell Spear and Photo Bomb about the Alcohol but for some reason you feel almost embarrassed about it. of course it could probably be a useful disinfectant or even an emergency pain killer but... Actually everypony with you right now seems to be in a bit of pain now that you think about it. You're even a little sore in quite a few places.

"PB? Do you know how much vodka I would need to drink to kill pain but not get me drunk?"

"I found a bottle of vodka, and it's pretty full, I thought we could maybe kill pain with it..."
>Spearmint looks at you very intently, "You found some Vodka in here!? C-can I have some?"
>Photo Bomb doesn't seem as happy about this, "This sound... Pretty ghetto. I don't think this is a good idea."
>Spearmint seems to ignore P'Bers, "Whenever I find something like that it usually takes like three of four drinks. don't think I usually try to measure it out."
"Okay Spear... Photo Bomb are you still in pain."
>"Yes... a lot."

"Well we don't have to kill the entire bottle, and you're probably right about the blood loss. So I don't think it will take much to kill pain. which goes for you two Spear."
>Spearmint gives you a puzzled look, "I know it's dangerous I just want to take the edge off a bit." Spearmint sits down and looks away from you, "It's not like it's easy to find something like that in here and when you do it's usually just a mostly used bottle of cough syrup or vanilla extract which is really more like settling..."
>You levitate the hoodie over to PB.
"Still, we're all suffering from at least a little bit of blood loss, maybe take like, two drinks for now Spear."
>"That's fine I mean, we'll have some for later right?"
"Yeah, just take it easy."
>You give the bottle to Spearmint and watch her take a couple of hits from the bottle. it looks like she has some of the same problems drinking the vodka that you had, but she also looks like she anticipated them making the ordeal much more fluid.
>PHoto Bomb put her hoodie on while Spearmint was taking her drinks, and now that Spearmint has finished you levitate the bottle away from her.
"How is that sweat shit?"
>"I don't usually wear things over my wings so it feels weird... But it's really soft."
>You try taking a small drink from the bottle, this time managing to force down your gulp that burns you throat all the way down, before making your stomach feel funny. You cough a bit afterwords while you wonder how anypony gets used to this. You tehn pass the bottle to PB.
"I'm sorry that we don't have anything to chase it with but I'm hoping that it will make you feel better."
>Photo Bomb looks a little worried, "This is going to suck, isn't it?"
"Just think of it like medicine."
>"Yeah, old timey prospector medicine."
>PB, takes the bottle from you and quickly tosses a shot from the bottle down her throat. Before quickly quickly tossing her head foreword and holding her mouth shut with a cough.
>>
I'd say before downing the Vodka to look at the proof. We're all in pain right now but PB is right, we've all got blood loss, and a little bit could knock our asses out. And knocked out from being drunk (and other possible complications) inthe middle of a secret facility filled with death, pain, more death, and possibly worse is not a goodidea. 22 may not be currently trying to kill us, (and i doubt he will, but prefer weariness over the possibility) there's a lot of other horrors that would jump at the chance of getting an easy feast.

TL;DR read the proof, get an idea of how useful it'll be for pain application (and good ol mollies) and wait on the booze. Blood loss + booze = baddies getting free meal.
>>
>>27489300
let's continue to do our best to avoid injury. Damn robots being assholes.
>>
>>27489300
We're relatively safe right now, so lets take a bit of time recuperating. Yes, 22 might come back, but if he had wanted to kill us, he already would have. Also i vote keeping an eye on the bottle spear seems like she might have bottle issues, and i don't think having her incapacitated (more so then we all are really) is a good idea. Chill out, rest, maybe explore if you feel it's safe. place is probably the best 'safehouse' we've had for a while lets take advantage of it. also am wondering something.. I think 22 has more invested in us then he lets on. i remember big poppa-drone back in the mech scene telling us about how 22 had fucked with the tubes and that's why we're here.

Did he do it on purpose?

If so, why?

he's obviously fucked with us twice before, (though it might have been passive but i actually think he's testing us)

just some food for thought

>"Thanks I guess. By the way I took the bandage off of my muzzle. How does it look?"
>PB goes a bit cross-eyed while she tries to look at her nose.

It's red, but it'll be fine.
>>
>>27490058

>>
>>27489742
it's not a sweater it's a sweatshirt
>>
>>27490058
Bit bruised and red, but none worse for the wear. Might be infected, but we have the vodka (and possibly more reliable antiseptics) so we can clear that up.

also suggest just chilling. moods been tense, and though it's obvious PB has a lot of shit on her mind weighing it down, the more we poke about it, the more she's going to clam up. She def. needs somepony to talk to, but i suggest giving her some space on the subject.

if possible lighten up the mood a bit, but don't be pushy, we'll just look silly (and possibly piss PB off/make her clam up more.

also hugs. hugs always help, right?
>>
>>27490058
Wouldn't hurt to do it now, rather than later. But whatever you decide is fine with me.

It's a, a bit damaged looking yet, but nothing too serious. At least it doesn't look like her muzzle isn't gonna fall off anytime soon.
>>
>>27490058
If it's not red from the bandage that could be bad news. We should smell it and disinfect it if it smells funky. Actually we should start disinfecting everybodies wounds anyways.

The vodka should probably go to that, plus it will keep Spear from fiending for it.

Disinfecting sleepover party!
>>
>>27490466
Like I said earlier, the vodka is not very good for that because it damages the tissue too.

Soapy water would be better, and Saline Solution would be best
>>
>>27490628
I would agree, but sadly what would be 'best' is unlikely to be readily available. vodka is definitely not the best solution, but in an emergency/survival situation like this, we need to use what we can.

if it's the odds of damaged skin tissue vs. getting ill and possibly killed by microscopic nasties, then i think we choose vodka, plus as mentioned it would keep spear from downing it. we trust her, but fear and possible addictions make pones not always choose the best path.

with that said, if we have any safer antiseptic I do vote we go with that, with booze being a last resort kinda thing

"Doesn't matter, I still fell sorry."

"Are you okay?"

"Oh."

Geeze. I guess we'll have to keep any form of alcohol away from Pepper and PB. I have a feeling one of 'em will try to down the vodka when we're not looking.
>>
>>27508805
I'll keep an eye on the both of you, don't want to play favorites here. This place is getting to everyones nerves Spear... I might be going crazy myself if I was still wandering around here alone with no one to talk to. Just try to be a little more understanding ok?

But yes, we should get out of here now, I think we've found the more interesting things in here already.
>>
>>27508805
I think spear might be right. PB has hit bottom.. and she already feels both that she's never leaving this place, and that no one will miss her. peggy has severe self-esteem issues, and she may end up doing something rash. don't think we need to worry too much about keeping PB from the vodka though. from her responses to it, it seems like she doesn't like the stuff, and might even possibly have bad experiences with other who were alcoholics.
i also agree with Spear, much as it'd be nice to relax here, we can't stay here forever and we need to push on. but hate to say it, i think we should also keep an eye on Spear. not that neither of them can't be trusted.. they just both are clashing a lot and even if thier slowly waring up, in such a stressful situation emotions and minds are going to be wire thin.

I vote we push on: establish what floor we're on,maybe even look at things more strategically (scout the floor out for available exits leading upwards, scout each exit to see which one leads furthest up/seems safest) then push on

TL;DR: keep tabs on the other two, but give space, continue keeping booze from spear. Push on wards, find floor number, come up with game plan
>>
>>27508805
Let's leave this place!

Bath, are you trying to fucking kill us?

Agree to keep an eye on her, but we need to boost some morale even in this shitty place. Somewhere on the agenda, we gotta make PB smile or laugh.

She's been super distant in a situation where companionship has gotten us this far, and I think that's mainly what's bugging Spearmint. She thinks PB is still taking us for granted, minus adding new cuss words to our vocabulary in every conversation.

>You barely hear the new voice over the repeating announcement system but, you do make out Spear yelping when it begins speaking. Looking back you see Spearmint looking nervous. She's trembling a bit and looking at you as if she wants you to give her some sort of answer.

What do you do?

I'm security and I'm leading a tour group that the company ceo approved of. All access pass.
>>
>>27550716
We still have the security badge too, I think, so we can show them that.

Tell the machine we got a hair cut and a can do attitude. That should cover the change in appearance.
>>
>>27550623
Use the credentials of the pass we found.
>>
>>27550829
we tried this last time and that didn't work. maybe this time we should say the badge was given to us?
>>
>>27550918
Maybe we should just tell them we're an escaped subject, but that we don't cause problems and they should focus on giant moles and the like first?

>You consider telling the A.I. that you are part of the security team but remembering how that went last time you decide to change your lie around a bit.
"I'm a test subject that was created by this facility and I was given this badge and told to come up here with a tour group.
>"This area is off limits to any individual that was not specifically granted access to senior staff for maintenance and approved spawning adjustments only. You stated that you are a Patwrite created life-form correct!?"
"Y-yes?"

Now Scanning, We have detected three individuals. 1 Non-patwrite life-form and two Patwrite species 11, individual 54 and... We seem to have detected an issue with the biological scanner. Our optical sensors have picked up three individuals in your group. Please identify all members of your party before we escort you out of this restricted area since you do not have clearance to be here."

I don't think we're going to get anywhere like this.

"I have no idea what she just said. I think she told us to continue." Now keep going.

It's late so I'm going to have to let this sit over night. oddly enough, my boss didn't tell me which site to go to tomorrow so I might be off tomorrow, I'm not 100% on that but If I am I might be able to get in more 11-54 than usual tomorrow. As such, This quest will also be one year old today, the 4th that is. I wanted to do something special, but I couldn't really come up with anything. I guess I could always answer questions about some of the lore that won't affect the story at this point, but I'd rather save that for the end of the quest. I could also take some art requests that pertain to 11-54 if you guys would like. Either way, if you guy have a better Idea of what I should do I'm open to suggestion. Either way, good night and I'll be back tomorrow.

Lie about Spear's identity. Lump her in with PB. If they figure out two 11-54s happened at once they may try to "fix" the situation. The machines also don't seem as terse with civilians. If it comes down to it we should take the fall.

We might want to just say "We'll see ourselves out." and head up a level if we can. Otherwise consult our companions and see what the consensus is.

Goodnight, Bath, as usual it's been fun.
>>
Man I want to shut most of the machines off here.
