So, uh... whose dick do I have to suck to get all of Iwamoto's Mega Man X series manga translated?
>>13785381
Mega Man 7, X1, and X2 were the last good Megaman games. No, Zero is not an exception
There I said it
>>13785391
X8 was surprisingly solid after how bullshit terrible X5, 6 and 7 were. It's still got problems, but it was a huge step in the right direction. Unfortunately it was too little too late.
Are there even raws for the manga?
Why was he dubbed "The backstabber"?
>>13783986
Because he wasn't above killing his own allies to achieve his goals.
It was "ally-killer" in jappo. He got a bunch of people killed with friendly fire because he just didn't give a shit.
Is this a Robotech thing?
Because it's really fucking obvious in Macross
What was the point of introducing the Captain like this?
>>13782874
> What's the point of having comedy in an action/comedy show?
>>13782874
He wasn't introduced that way.
>>13782921
Pretty much. However OP scene meant that nothing works like it should in that ship.
Where were you when there was a non-Gundam MS that had stats that rekts a Gundam's in its very own series?
>blows up a giant asteroid base in one shot with ease
>Wing Zero custom couldn't blasts through a bunch of metal doors without falling apart like a bad Chinese bootleg
>>13781368
>has v-fin
It's totally a Gundam m8
>>13781461
If that's true then why didn't Zechs do that himself?
I'm 100% sure it is a Gundam, OP.
/m/ascot thread

Not a great picture anon, We can barely see him. What with being way up there and all. Can't even get the detail on his coat.
Posting on topic; 50~ episodes of this lardass and he actually ends up a damn useful badger-thing.
>>13782983
he's talking about the dog, who is right in front of the camera.
>>13783538
Nope
Whose dumb fucking idea was to name him Schwarz Bruder ?
>>13778054
Dude, their fucking Japs. No one ever said that anime writers were good at what they do.
Also, the name of the Neo-Germany fighter is one of the least of G Gundam's problems.
>>13778054
The same people who thought having a God Gundam, Devil Gundam and a Gundam the size of a colony that's shaped like Japan was a good idea

Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans is Valvrave the Liberator done right.

Eh, VVV still had better music.
Well I can tell this is going to be a completely serious thread that would lead to constructive discussion.

Does anyone remember this character in Dancougar? Why did she exist? What did she add to the plot? Why has she never been tokenistically been included in SRW or anything else? Did the creators forget she existed?
She is basically just a vehicule for an idol singer's career. The thing is, the idol was so ashamed of her own VA performance that she pretty stopped voice acting altogether for many years outside of a cameo in Nova. Ergo, Banpresto couldn't use her character even if they wanted to.
loli Minmay
>>13786085

Hi oh! I'm looking for some new scan of Gundam Build Fighters A. Got only till chapt. 12

>>13783982
Spooky
>not owning your Zentradi-sized Minmay doll

>>13783982
It's not a doll, it's a kigurumi.
Yes, there's probably a corpse inside.
Why do people say 70s animation (especially Toei) is bad?
I just watched Mazinger Z vs The Ankoku Daishogun bluray version, and the animation seem pretty competent when you consider its age.
In fact, I've seen way less QUALITY in it than your average episode of the original Gundam.
So yeah, if you've never watched 70s shit before, this movie isn't a bad start.
And Kouji is not the paragon of manliness or anything like that as shown in pic related. I blame TTGL for painting a false image of 70s mecha.
>>13782295
>Why do people say 70s animation (especially Toei) is bad?
Because it's literally all 3fps. Characters in like all of the old Toei series fit into this really ugly art direction with shitty noses and eyes, Tetsujin and Mazinger specifically. Plus, you're watching a movie jackass, of course they put money and or effort into it.
>In fact, I've seen way less QUALITY in it than your average episode of the original Gundam.

And it was awful. Sucks dude.
> McGillis's mask is a metaphor for the overarching theme of this episode—that nobody is who they seem, even if you may feel like you know them very well.

>>13781749
I'm looking forward to seeing someone stand around and explain a visual metaphor again.
>>13781749
> McGillis's mask has no deeper meaning or reason than he needed a disguise and wanted to go for as ostentatious a one as possible so no-one would see or remember his face, only the mask
Could a land war in Russia be won if Hitler or Napoleon had Gundumbs?

Various countries didn't fail to conquer Russia because of a difference in firepower. They gave up because they weren't prepared for the climate.
