Why do you have such a hateboner for CGI /m/?
Not every studio is Sunrise and can do all their mecha in mecha shows in regular 2D. And whenever there might be a good series with decent CGI, you just say it looks like a video game cutscene
Because we all want a return of the Golden Age of /m/. The 80s/early 90s. When budgets be damned! Every mecha/cyberpunk anime was drawn and shaded like a movie or OVA.

Kids these days are spoiled by major Hollywood productions and their million dollar CG effects.
If you care more about the visuals than the quality of the story you really have no reason to discuss it at all.
It's probably the same people who only pay attention during the combat scenes.
Why is ANT considered bad when it is almost exactly the same as Zeta? Is it because Zeta has always been bad and people don't realize it until they rewatch it in ANT form?
As much as I hate Zeta, ANT is legitimately a lot worse.

Except for the large chunks where it's not. The parts where plot points and character motivations are punched out. Where some characters literally fall out of the movie cause there's no time to explain they didn't make it. Where character arcs are shifted and, subsequently, motivations are fucked with. And, of course, where the ending is retooled to be happier, even in the face of all logic.

That's because it showed the truth to Zetafags, but they decided to deny it and instead say that ANT is shit and Zeta is not.
