do you think he was telling the truth?

>In 2015, Alex Malarkey publicly disavowed the book The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven, stating that his near-death experience described in that book was fictional[15] and condemned Christian publishers and bookstores for selling popular "heaven tourism" books, which he said "profit from lies."[16][17] Following Malarkey's statement, Colton Burpo expressed that "People have their doubts about my story," but said he stood by the book.[18]
it's bad theology in addition to being obviously fake

Just like all theology
Yeah, he was telling the truth.
You can get rich as fuck selling stuff with God in it. My grandma listens to no one but Jimmy Swaggart and anything he shits out she will buy. He supposedly writes so many books but I really have my doubts it's actually him. Every month he has a new one or two out and it's seriously questionable because they're pretty thick.
He says they're inspired by God but someone who didn't graduate high school is seriously writing one book a month? Drafting, editing, etc?
My original point though is that there's money to be made in the Christ industry.
A three year old has a near death experience and thinks he went to heaven.
Well I'm convinced, guess I'm a #christmissile now
