Yes it does.
Any story is worth telling - even shitty ones because they have their own audience.

what if your opinion is just shitty?

How well you can tell it.

What makes a story worth telling is it's theme, it's meaning, what it's all about. Any story without at least the bare minimum of meaning is going to automatically be shit.

The story can mean something super personal to the author, or it can mean something that the author wants an audience to understand, or it can mean something that is completely obvious. A story can have several layers of meaning, and you can get as fucking esoteric or as symbolic you want with it, but the idea still has to be there.

That is what makes a story worth telling, because a story is more than "character does stuff, things happen, the end". Since the dawn of mankind storytelling has always been a tool. A tool for comfort, a tool for education, a tool for radiating the type of communication that is on the abstract layer of thought and emotion. It is almost as old as we are as a intelligent species.

We must keep the tradition alive.

The fact that your strongly believe it is worth telling. So strongly that you cannot live unless you tell it. And it still might not be enough. Your may need to die before you are heard.

What is shitty?

Characters which are relatable to the reader, whether likable or unlikable. These characters must drive for something, and depending on how we feel about them, we would hope they succeed or fail. That's all it takes to write a good story, or at least an enjoyable one.
