To be honest, he does have some great reviews and is a pleasure to listen to, his only fault is that he can get really pretentious at times especially about his ice coffee and other vapid things which he rages on and on about
>>
>>8273734
This.
>>
I haven't watched all of his reviews but the ones I have are all very tryhard in the "le cool guy" department and are very, very surface level in terms of what he talks about

If you knew zip about a book before he reviews it, I guess that makes him a decent resource. Given that he practically only reads popular, well-known PoMo though, there isn't a real excuse to not know his books

I kinda think it's charming when he pokes fun at himself

i'm a girl and i must admit i'd love for this guy to dominate me. i can imagine him messaging me over youtube after i spam his video comments section about how cute he is. i can imagine him asking where i'm from and realizing we're only like eight hours away by car. i can imagine turning up to a motel room in a short skirt and walking past reception with my heart in my mouth and going to the bathroom to make sure my pussy is shaven and that there's no pieces of toilet tissue stuck to it or anything. i would run my fingers up my pussy and then sniff and spray some perfume down there just in case. i would finally feel ready to go to his room after looking at myself in the mirror and feeling butterflies in my tummy. i can imagine going up to his room and knocking and feeling like "this is it, no turning back" and hearing him unlocking the door. i can imagine him standing back and allowing me to walk past him then slowly closing the door. i would turn around and attempt to make small talk but he'd already be rushing towards me, fondling my breasts and rubbing my cock through my skirt. i would be so flustered i'd begin kissing his chest and kiss all the way down to his toes and then i would blow his penis. we would have rough sex on the floor with him on top of me grinding his body into mine and performing scooping motions so that he gets really deep in my pussy. when he eventually cums there would be mascara and throat slobber all over my face. i'd be sort of crying and he would hold me and kiss my hair and tell me it's okay in a voice which makes me become hard again. i'd look at him to apologize for getting hard but he would just smile and gently place his fingers around my neck.

Just watched his Collected Fictions review. It's bad, similar to Paradise Lost, he can't say anything interesting or in-depth about it. It's bland.

Both have decent taste but shitty reviews. I hate how "Cliff Le Sargent" constantly stares blankly into the distance during his reviews, as if to convey that he is having some sort of epiphany or deep thought, but never says anything remotely thought provoking. I hate how the BookChemist literally masturbates to IJ in every video and only reads pomo. Still watch both sometimes when I'm bored.

>>8275408

I'm not even a Fantandrone but he's got more personality in his little pinky. Don't compare him to this poser.

He mentions Fantano at some point in his upload on July 10, and said that he wanted to be the book version of him.

This (I think) was after I saw a thread on here by someone asking who is the Fantano of /lit/. He probably browses this board.

u a girl?

if so, does intelligence turn you on? Heard some chicks throw around the term sapiosexual but I figured it was just a meme.

any woman is free to answer this.

also men. who cares. just indicate gender.

cleverness is a pretty big deal, if a girl can make me laugh with any consistency she can jump from like a 7 to a 10 pretty quick

I don't think he takes himself too seriously at all.
>>
He's starting to get worse in terms of quality.

His Day of the Locust review was a joke. He spent the first five minutes talking about wine and noir movies, ten minutes summarizing the novel without even mentioning Homer Simpson, arguably the most important character, and then it just kind of fizzled out.

He has great moments but he's really got to start learning to edit. I'm not watching an hour-long video about an Ernest Hemingway short story.

John Green in a fat suit?
>>
>>8281471
Maybe it's because I watched only a few reviews that were a year old or so, but it felt like his videos were over-edited. I have a really hard time enjoying listening to someone who cuts after every sentence or two.
>>
>>8279454
But that implies she should already be a 7 to begin with.
>>
>>8279354
To be honest I would have asked for a sapiosexual girl some years ago and I would have probably considered myself as such. Not now though. I've come to realize that finding a caring, warm, heartful woman is so much more important I can't even describe it. It really puts any kind of discussion you could have about the interpretations of Hegel's works in perspective.

Sometimes I still fantasize about fucking a girl while she reads proust aloud though.
