I started reading it two times, got bored after 4 chapters. Im not really a fan of fantasy or science fiction honestly and the writing in dune is terrible.

Who was the last non-tryhard science fiction writer?
Read the first four earlier this summer, didn't care for them myself.
High points for me were the first half of Dune and the first half of God Emperor.
Didn't care for them much overall, but don't regret reading them.
