What do you think of this thread ?

Good. He was also aware of racial differences and despised immigration which made his writing better. "Niggerman" is a great name for a cat.

How about other non-whites?

His story concepts and ideas range from great to meh, but his writing is very repetitive and not particularly engaging once you're used to all of his tropes.
There's a few times his weird/bad writing style helps him out though, stories that feature dialogues always end up really bizarre and off putting, but that helps the atmosphere.
He's okay

Interesting ideas mired by his need to use too many adjectives.

gives an eerie atmosphere, but sometime his prose is so bogged down and so callow, that it takes away from the ominousness. Reads like a bombastic 7th grader.

As Stephen King, a magnificent worldbuilder and storyteller, but godawful prose that only ages well because it is so alien to us (bad victorian prose).
