Missing 411 series by David Paulides
I'm looking for feedback from any /lit/ites that have read these books. I am considering buying the hard copy collectors edition of the series.
Appreciated

My wife got into them for a bit. I haven't read them, but she said that Paulides misrepresents information a lot and that the books get really repetitive.

Thanks! I can imagine they would get repetitive wit the entire premise of the series being a case study of people gone missing.
In regards to him misrepresenting information. I have heard this a few times and I find it interesting. Any chance you could be more specific?

He often leaves out information that lends itself to a more plausible and less "mysterious" explanation. In some cases the causes for disappearances are obvious but he leaves them out.

Guess it depends how often he does it. I know he is a 'bigfoot guy' but I do want to believe that he has tried to present this stuff as scientifically as possible.
If I were to just buy one book which one would your wife suggest?
