As an European, I'm going to NYC this summer for the first time. I'd like to read books set in NYC or NYC-related. Any suggestions besides pic related ?

"Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. It's about an unnamed protagonists Dante-esque trip through New York. It was written at the height of the Harlem Renaissance and really captures the jazz and racial issues at the root of Harlem.
