Sometimes it's just to have a mindless form of entertainment to pick up and unwind with to take a break from grad school stuff or dense nonfiction/literature. Sometimes it's to see what the hype is about with pop culture things she hears about. Recently she went through an 800 page genre fiction book in one day. Shit's crazy.
