>>8213000
Yeah, but not so nicely stacked.
probably can't read what they are, sitting here right now is:
>Ada, or Ardor
>The Phantom of the Temple by van Gulik
>Njal's Saga
>Modern Japanese Writers
>Ehon: The Artist and the Book in Japan

I wish my country wasn't so terrified of civilians owning guns

How does one read the trouble with being born?

Say hello to the NSA.
>>8213013
Exact same here.
>>8213171
I'm sorry, anon. Have you at least been able to go shooting before?
>>8213041
I think that's his point.
>>8213239
That's my qt tokarev, an M57. It's got custom grips on it.
>>8213251
is it worth getting the milsurp ammo?

Bow down, friendos.

My current bedside reading.

Are you the guy who keeps making Gaddis threads?
>>8213402
No, but I comment on them whenever they pop up. I'm alarmed by how many people complain about The Recognitions (where's Jack Green when you need him?), but I'm glad people are at least reading him.
I've decided to write my dissertation on Gaddis, so I guess I have /lit/ to thank for that.

Penguin edition of Kant is the Müller translation, which is the most balanced between legibility, accuracy, and conceptual coherence. It also manages to capture Kant's very subtle humor, which is difficult enough to pick up on in the OG.
I'm gonna have to say you don't know what you're talmbout.
The amount of guns in this thread sort of makes me feel like this board is for a bunch of right wing fascists who think that femininity is a bad thing.
>>8213493
Gub?
>>8213500
gub?
>>8213493
>fascists
Read Orwell's essay.
>who think that femininity is a bad thing
How limp is your wrist right now?
>>8213493
That's a weird thing to assume, anon. One of the gun posts belongs to a fairly feminine woman.
Women are generally great with rifle marksmanship.
>>8213505
I actually am very engrossed in gay culture. Most of my friends and people who I talk with on a daily basis are gay or trans.
>>8213511
Good for you.
I don't have time for flamboyant pansies, nor should I be expected to.
>>8213508
You're right, it was an assumption. I just see most of the gun culture coming from radical right wing people, so I automatically conflate guns with right wing conservatives, who I see on a regular basis on this board. So forgive me if I made a false assumption of you.
>>8213516
You don't have time for flamboyant pansies? You mean you don't have time to have sex with cute guys? Why not anon? It will make you feel good, you can find some time.

isn't that supposed to be a bad translation of faust?
>>8213000
luckily i have burned all my cioran books, u should do the same
>>8214017
Luke is very well regarded. Faust translations are always somewhat controversial but Luke has a decent claim to being the best modern translation
>>8213502

I just have my eReader. I sometimes fall asleep in the middle of reading and wake up with it in my hand.
>>8213235
mirin' that Harold Bloom poetry anthology
>>8214043
Kaufman would be #1 if he didn't take a hatchet to Part 2.
That's why Luke has the crown.
>>8213339
I'm reading his letters (as a pirated ebook because I'm not paying for letters) and Carpenter's Gothic now after The Recognitions. If Otto wrote letters to his mom they'd probably look a lot like most of these early ones.
