Topic is defense of the capital punishment, should be out in 3 or so months.
Guess it's Edward Feser general and by extension thomist, aristotelian and conservative author discussion is welcomed.

I have a copy of Feser's Aquinas. Any preliminary reading I should undertake or can I dive into it?
>>8205926
None.
That is the preliminary reading.
bump. I've read most of Fesey. I'm not a theist or a conservative, but I've learned a lot from boel.

How's his scholastic metaphysics?
It's his most hardcore from what I know, his Hayek one also seems interesting.

it's like a big literature review tbqhwy. not difficult, just ponderous. good shit, but have a lot a patience if you're going to tackle it.
>>8206441
I don't have a patience problem, just interested in how difficult it is. His other works were written so most can understand them, which is good.
I like how he doesn't need to obscurify like many other modern authors.
how long it gonna take for this to come out
>>8206620
Guess a few months, depending on when they finish it. He's got a coauthor.

who tf knows. he apparently has a book on phil of nature coming out sometime, too.
>>8206643
I hope he'll start cranking out more 600 pages tomes on relevant subjects as followup to his introductory material.
>>8206658
did you read his recent blog posts on Nietzsche? they were pretty fantastic, I'd really like too see him do a book on the "old" atheists.
>>8206681
That was one of his best posts, I'd love a pure political work which deals with egalitarianism.
