I made all the ones I did on Paint. It's not that hard, anon. Be sure to resize the images of the covers separately. 400px height is a pretty good standard.

my idea was that you had the option to go Early Nabokov -> From Russian To English -> The Masterpiece -> Late Nabokov, or just The Masterpiece -> Late Nabokov, and then read the other groupings if you like at the appropriate point in sequence. I would understand if that's not clear... is that the case, and what can I do about it?

You don't like those ones? Personally I love them. They're way better than the US and Canada ones that I have. I'm ok with the butterfly allusion but the spines are all different shades of grey for some reason. Looks horrible.
