Has anyone here read some of Peter Sotos' work? I'm deeply interested in both his music and his lit but finding it online is a bitch. If anyone has pdfs or scans please drop em, otherwise I'd just like to hear thoughts/opinions on him.

Yea i read a bit and heard a lot of his stuff, Buyers Market is a really interesting sound collage and an essential field recording, but it's also the "tamest" of his works, both in litterateur and music.
His other most well known work is called Proxy and is basically Buyer's Market on steroids, even the first track from it called Playground Sex is some of the most disturbing shit i've ever heard. His PURE magazines are just as fucked up if not more, can't even post anything from it cause this is a blue board but pic related is a page from the same magazine as your image OP, PURE #1.
I think the only one of his works that is worth actually listening to is Buyer's Market, everything else seems like super edgy porn he made for himself.

He said in an interview that there's nothing passive about his interests, but that he can get into stuff without getting his hands dirty with the law. I read Selfish, Little a few years ago and I was hugely disappointed. From what I had heard about it online beforehand, I was hoping that it would be a book that ridiculed the media's exploitation of crime for the hypocritical trash that it is, but the majority of the book wasn't even about the Moors murders. Like 60% was the narrator's stories about gay brothels and fucking random guys, and then most of the information about the murders was just reprinted from various news sources that served as an excuse for the narrator to fantasize about pedophilia. I was really hoping that it would be able to draw interesting conclusions by embracing its nihilism without having to worry about offending the "good taste" of the public and victims of crime, but it does nothing with this outlook besides trying to create a series of shocking images.
