Hey /lit/. Whats the best Borges translation?Is pic related any good or should I get Ficciones translated by Kerrigan.
~~Also why is the hardcover edition of Collected Fictions cheaper than the paperback, its usually the other way around~~

Only acceptable way to read Borges is in Spanish, hermanito.

but mijo, I only know english, french and german and I want to read Borges.
I know he worked with Thomas di Giovanni to translate his works but you cant really find that edition anymore so whats the next best thing

As the thread says I'm asking for the best~~most accurate~~ english translation.There are also some differences between the two edition, Collected fictions being much larger, having as far as I can tell more or different content
