Which is the best translation for Anna Karenina?
My local bookstore has the Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky translation for 50 cents.

Either Maude, if you want to be safe, or try one of the newer translations by Bartlett or Schwartz. I read P&V and it wasn't bad, but it was clunky.
