you kinda messed up there. outside of the Yellow King shit, TD really has nothing to do with this book. for something similar to TD, you'd be better of with something from more contemporary authors like Ligotti and Karl Edward Wagner (who both directly influenced aspects of season one).

I read it and liked it a few years ago, because I read in another book that it influenced Lovecraft. Anyways I thought I was pretty cool for reading something so obscure, then a tv show made it more popular so now I guess I'm a god damn hipster.
The first few stories are solid weird fiction, my personal favorite being The Repairer of Reputations. The rest is bad nineteenth century teenage romance.
