If true, OP is quite simply born in the wrong time--as funny and cliche as that sounds, it could simply be true in this instance. Women used to be better read, used to appreciate good command of the english language, used to sew, etc--it really does seem that, amongst all strata of society--the pampered babylonion whore seems ot be the archetypal format most women of modern day western world conform themselves to.
