i posted >>8141184 and, to be fair, i'm only 21 (perhaps a child in your eyes). i have, however, actually heard of book of the new sun, i had just never seen it as an acronym and google was no help. not everybody is so constantly aware of niche '80s sci-fi that they can immediately figure out acronyms, especially when you're comparing a futuristic dying earth series to a 'medieval' high-fantasy series with apparently zero criteria for comparison.
