I feel fairly comfortable in my knowledge that nothing can be genuine but that our constructs of sincerity are still enjoyable. I can't really force myself to believe totally in these constructs once I have seen their deconstruction.
>>
>>8139217
OK. But sincerity is a social thing. You can do whatever socially and then live a life of virtue or love or harmony in your personal life.of course social life is a construct. We built it together. Construction and deconstruction shouldn't define your literary livelihood. Join in on our /lit/tle Hellenist faith. Sophia is a goddess I never knew I could love!
>>

Is this sincere?

I blew through Siddhartha and Demian in a day so I thought why not for that one. Cosmos is the one I'm apprehensive about even though I love gombrowicz.
>>
>>8140201
I love Hesse too, especially Siddhartha, but Steppenwolf was one hell of a slog for me as well. The style just isn't very attractive and seems to rely too much on the "woah this is totally me" effect, which wears off quickly.
>>
>>8138896
