Are there any fiction books or short stories, about prehistoric man, hunter gathers, ice age etc. ?
I found my myself fascinated by Gobleki Tepe-like discoveries, and the idea that there were once multiple hominid species living at the same time.

Documents are usually fascinating once you get down the basic terminology.

Gist: Basically a time traveling anthropologist lives/travels for 14,000 years watching the agricultural revolution. It is non-fiction with a sci-fi narrative device. Great book.
